When I look at Gale I see horrible burns on his face, going all the way down to his neck, and down his left arm.

He frowns. "Hey Catnip." He says and she stays quiet, gripping her crutches. Then he looks at me. "How the hell did that happen to her?" He asks pointing to her leg and her cast.

"She got into a hunting accident, it wasn't my fault that she wanted to go hunting and a wild beast tried to kill her!" I shout. Gale grabs Katniss's arm. "Why are you even with him?" She looks at his burns and I see something snap in her beautiful grey eyes, something that I have never seen in Katniss... But then it looks all to familiar.

Katniss Everdeen is a trained killer, and so is Gale... But Katniss could kill him very quickly.

She brings up her crutch and slams it against his temple. He howls in pain and tackles her to the ground with blood coming from his temple.

Then she brings up her castes foot and smashes it against his face, making him go flying backwards. "YOU KILLED HER!!!!!!" She screams jumping onto his waist and strangling him.

"You took her from my life!!!!! She was my only happiness, you monster!!!!!!!" I grab Katniss off quickly with her now just a puddle of tears. I look at Gale who holds his nose and other hand in front of his face.

"We don't know who's bomb it was!" He sobs and she glares. "You're a monster! I hate you Gale! I hate you!!!" He stands and swallows.

"Fine, sorry for bothering you Miss. Everdeen." He barks and picks himself up and walks away quickly from the meadow.

I help her back up onto her crutches and tears stream down her cheeks. "Peeta... I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean to say that o-or do that-" I kiss her lips.

"It's okay Katniss." I keep kissing her dark hair as her face is nestled into my chest and I wonder why she snapped and if she could do it again.
