Tex was tired. She hadn't slept in a couple days and wanted to make sure that her girl friend was okay. She was praying to herself, begging someone to keep Kakiana safe. The fear that she would've lost her had drained her of all energy.
Flash backs of the two watching syzygies began to flood her mind with such overwhelming thoughts. She could barely keep herself from crying. So much happiness.
The door opened. A bruised and limping Kakiana appeared in the doorway of the hospital room.
Tex stood up. "Kaki!" She yelled and hugged her girlfriend tightly. Kakiana winced and kissed Tex. "H-Hey." She stuttered lightly.
Tears stained Tex's sensitive skin as the glanced at Kaki. Her head burned from all the crying and she barely was able to smile.
"I'm sorry." Kaki said.
"Hush." Tex purred quietly.
