When Jeff and I were talking he actually wasn't as bad as I thought. Most of the jocks in this school were idiots and assholes but he was different. He didn't ask for my number right away, he didn't try to grab my ass when we met in the hall earlier, he didn't say seductive things to get into my pants.
"So.. what's your thing?" Jeff asked as he squinted looking at me. I furrowed I my eyebrows eating a chip from my bag. "My thing? What do you mean?" I laughed slightly. "Do you play a sport or do any extra school activities?" he asked leaning forward resting his chin in the palm of his hand. "No, I don't do anything. I just go home or go out and explore this strange world." I chuckled.
"Oh then you have time to come to one of my baseball games." He smirked. I rolled my eyes. "I don't do or watch school sports so sorry pal." I rolled my eyes finishing my food and my drink. "Okay, how about if we win this up coming game? You have to come to my next one." He said as he smiled proudly. I sighed and blew some hair out of my face. "Fine. If you guys loose then you have to go exploring with me." I smirked. He looked at me as if he were debating it and then sighed. "Fine. Deal." He bit his lip. Damn. I don't know why but that was always so attractive when guys did it. Did guys think the same about girls?
Jeff and I sat there in silence for a bit. It was kind of awkward. He was eating while I just sat there in my phone.
"Are you going to that party tonight?" Jeff asked. I groaned. "Seriously? You're one of those people?" I asked raising both my eyebrows.
"One of what people?" Jeff asked me. "Why does anyone care? It's just a stupid party." I told him. "Uh, because it'll be boring without you." Jeff smiled and looked down biting his lip once again.
"Jeez, Jeff. Don't be such a flirt." I winked and stood up because the lunch bell rang.
Little did I know what would go down at that party.
