I went straight home after school. I decided to take the bus because I didn't want to talk or look at Jeff. He played me and I didn't need that stress right now. But, here I am stressing over it. Stressing over him.
I walked to the kitchen greeting my mom. My dad had moved out a few days ago due to everything happening with the divorce. "Your dad and I just signed the divorce papers today." Mom sighed gently looking up at me. I looked at her and rolled my eyes. "Great. Have anything else you wanna do to ruin my life?" I snapped and smiled sarcastically. I walked up to my room. "Brooke!" My mom called. I ignored her and kept walking up the stairs until I reached my room. I pulled my phone out and my eyes widened at how many missed calls and texts I got from Jeff.
Jeff: brooke? Jeff: why aren't you returning my calls. Jeff: I'm worried what the actual fuck. Jeff: Wait what girl? Clay told me you got mad at me because I was all over some girl. Jeff: that never happened. Jeff: who told you that?
I rolled my eyes and sat my phone down. Same old lies, different jock.
I walked over to my vanity and started to organize since I had nothing better to do. Then, my mind went back to Jeff. Why would he do this to me?
Why would anyone do this to anyone?

I am so sorry for the wait guys. I've been busy with my other book, school, and my depression is causing me to lack confidence in writing this. I will try to be better though.
Anyways, what do you think happened? Is Zach lying? Or is Jeff just a lying asshole?
