The day was going by pretty fast and now it was lunch and I haven't seen Clay all day. I usually see him at least once by now.

Jeff sat down next to me at the table kissing my cheek gently. Man, I could get used to this.

"Have you seen Clay at all?" I asked him. He shook his head wrapping an arm around my waist. "Nah. It's unusual." He furrowed his eyebrows.

I looked around and spotted Clay walking towards us. He looked beyond angry.

"Hey, Clay." I said cautiously.

"Why did you do it?" He snapped at me. I stood up so I didn't have to look up at him. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "Why did you do that to Hannah?" He said as he clenched his fists.

I sighed looking down. "I know what I did was wrong but please listen to me." I said placing a hand on his shoulder as I talked calmly. He pushed me backwards as I gasped. "Clay, stop." I said sternly. Jeff stood up almost immediately and pulled me to him. "Clay, you're my best friend but don't you ever put your hands on her like that again." Jeff stated.

"Yeah, because she's just so innocent right?" Clay nodded and turned around and began to walk away. I felt tears come to my eyes. Jeff hugged me gently. "Don't cry please. I know what you did was terrible but you need to forgive yourself." He mumbled into my hair. I shook my head burying my face in his chest.

"I'll never forgive myself."

Jeff and Brooke aren't dating, just to clear that up. But, Jeff wants her to be reminded of how much he likes her so he flirts a lot.

Clay also came across Brooke's tape. Will he forgive her?
