Gleam Summer Party - Part 1

"You ready" Tanya asked. As she a Jim waited at the door.

She applied a coat of lipstick and checked her appearance in the mirror one last time before heading out the door of her hotel room.

"I suppose so" Y/N told her friend

"Oh I can't wait for you to meet the rest of us" Tan smiled as she linked arms.

Y/N had been invited to the Gleam annual summer party, she personally didn't think she should be here, she had only started her YouTube channel a year a ago and it was still quite small, and 2 weeks ago she signed with Gleam management, but they had insisted for her to come and meet the other YouTube creators, the only thing was she didn't know anyone a part from Tanya and Jim.

She had met Zoe briefly in the office as they were passing through, but she hit off with Tanya and Jim at the gleam office in London, she had heard of some of the other creators like Marcus, Caspar lee and ThatcherJoe she even came a crossed one or two of their videos in the past, as well as seeing some of the creators on the wall in the gleam office, but she had never spoken to them or met them.

Y/N made her way in to the dining room still linked arms with Tan. It was packed, some of the people She knew from the Gleam team, but a lot of them She didn't. Everyone was in groups talking, catching up and drinking.

"Zoe!!!" Tan squealed

"Hey Tan! Hey Y/N" Zoe said offering her a small smile as she walked over in our direction

"Hey" I said back to her

"Welcome to your first gleam party" Zoe said with excitement in her voice

"I've seen your latest video and it was amazing " Zoe told me

"You've watched my videos" Y/N asked slightly taken back as her cheeks flushed a shade of red.

"I think pretty much everyone in this room has" Zoe chuckled.

She couldn't believe Zoe's words, really would these professional youtubers really watch her silly little videos and the odd vlog, she was stunned.

"Think the food is on its way out" Tan announced braking my train of thought.

"What table are you both on" Zoe asked us

"Six" they both said in together which cause them to chuckle.

"Looks like we're on the same table" Zoe said with a excitement

The table started to fill up around her, Tanya and Zoe had introduced everyone that came and sat down. Y/N was surprised that everyone knew of her.

Along with Tanya and Zoe, She was joined by Jim and Alfie as well as Marcus, most of them all had their vlogging cameras in there hands. They were all lovely and welcomed her in to the "gleam" group with opened arms. She started to relax a lot more. It felt like she had always been apart of the group.

"Hello guys looks like I'm on the shit table" A voice drew everyone's attention

"Late as normal man" Alfie said taking a sip of his gin and tonic

"Bloody got lost didn't i" he said as he slipped in to his seat next to Y/N and Zoe.

"Broseph have you met Y/N"

Y/N heard Zoe speak her name as She turned her head in her direction pair of striking blue eyes fell on hers.

"No" he said with a smirk

"Well Joe this is Y/N and Y/N this is my brother Joe" Zoe said with a small grin

"Hey" she said shyly

"Hey so nice to finally meet, I've seen your videos there so bloody funny we need to calibrated sometime" Joe tells her, making her cheeks blush red

"Nice to meet you too, I love your videos, your pranks are amazing" she smiles

Joe was quite surprised at that "You've watched my videos" he questions

"Of course"

The two of them lean in and start talking about various videos and plans for up coming videos and shearing ideas.

A few hours later dinner was done and the party was in full swing, everyone was dancing celebrating and enjoying themselves.

Y/N had spend most of the night getting to know everyone, Joe had introduced her to the rest of the youtubers, he never left her side they spoke about YouTube and moved on to other things, anything and everything.

She was currently in the middle of the dance floor dancing to the latest song banging out of the speakers along with a very tipsy Tanya and Louise. Joe was over chatting to Caspar and the rest of the lads.

"Having fun buddy" Caspar asked

"Yeah buddy" he said smiling

"You like her man don't you" Alfie chuckled, noticing he had spent most of the night glued to Y/N side as well as not being able to take his eyes off her at this precise moment.

"What" Joe questioned

"Y/N" Alfie said looking in Y/N direction

"Yeah she's nice" Joe said as he watched her

"No buddy I think he means you like her like her" the South African explained to his ex roommate

Still looking in Y/N direction, she catches him and gives a smile and small wave, finally dragging his eyes away from her

"Well..." he says as he looks at her agains "maybe" he saids with a small smirk.

"Then what are you doing here man" Alfie says giving him a nudge "go and dance with her or something"

"We only just met I don't want to push it" Joe says nervous

"When has that ever stopped you" the South African chuckles

He makes his way over, between the dancing crowd, in Y/N direction.

Alfie and Caspar watch on, Joe pulled her close and whispered something in to her ear, she placed her arm around his neck nodding to his whisper.
