Fright Night

Joe's POV

It was a cold, dark evening and a few days from Halloween, autumn had truly set in outside as well as the inside of the Zalfie household. Me and Alfie were sitting in the living room, which was decorated from head to toe in Halloween decorations, you name it Zoe had it from spiders, clowns and the odd witch or two, I'm Pretty sure I counted 11 pumpkins when we arrived earlier. I really don't know where my older sister gets her ideas from.

Most of the day we had been trying to scare each other as much as we can to get everyone excited for tonight, but she hated it, if it wasn't for Zoe she wouldn't be here tonight and I promised her that I wouldn't leave her side and she didn't have to do anything she didn't want to.

We had been sitting in the same spot for the last 45mins trying to distract ourselves with our phones while we waited for the girls decided on which shade of lipstick looked the most autumnal and weather to wear a bobble hat or not.

Tonight was Zoe's annual fright night at Tulleys farm, my sister had been gathering anyone who was willing to attend this fright night for the past 3 years. and we were currently waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive the usual suspects were attending, Jim, Tanya, Naomi, Mark, Poppy Alfie's sister and her boyfriend Sean and I even think Caspar might be turning up.

I heard the two girls giggling as they came bounding in to the room, looks like they finally decided on a lipstick, my eyes glance up from my phone and caught a glimpse of the two of them. I chuckled and threw my head back in laughter

"What's wrong" she asked puzzled

Alfie must of caught on to my sudden outburst of laughter and started to laugh a long with me.

"Can someone please tell me what's funny" she asked

"A perfect match" Alfie says in between his laughs

"What" She asks raising her eyebrow

"You and Joe are matching" Alfie announces

My laughter finally starts to slow down and my eyes gaze over her appearance, she was wearing back skinny jeans, with my khaki Sugg life hoodie paired with black boots and Zoe's new grey bobble hat from her new lifestyle range. My eyes glanced back to myself I was wearing exactly the same minus the hat and the black boots but I had decided to add my denim jacket for warmth.

"I'll go and change" she sighed

"Nah love it's fine" I told her with a smile

"At lest I have good taste" she said joining in with the laughter.

"It looks so much more better on me though" she added.

"Yeah you look hot in that hoodie" I told her with a wink. Alfie's eyes widened at my comment obviously feeling awkward.

"Hey now you know how I feel when your like that with my sister" I said to Alfie laughing.

"Aww I think it's cute" Zoe added.

An hour later we all piled in to a mini bus and made our way to Tulleys farm it was a clear night, since it had been raining most of the day, you could see the moon sending off it's glow and casting dark shadows across the dark fields and down the winding country lanes and muddy dirt tracks. We had finally arrived at Tulleys farm, Everyone was here and was hyped, excited as well as a little nervous about what was in store for us tonight.

Everyone who hadn't met my girlfriend welcomed her with opened arms. They were happy for me that I had finally got myself a decent girl at last. which made me beam with pride. she is amazing, beautiful and she's mine. I knew she was nervous about tonight mainly due to meeting the rest of the gang and going to the fright night. She didn't mind a horror film but experiencing it in front of your face and in real life as such takes it to a whole new level. I think mingling with the rest of the gang took her mind off it but now we had arrived I look see the look dread in her face.
