It was my favourite time of year, the days were getting shorter with the nights drawing in, the weather was cold and icy, the prefect kind of weather to cozy up under a throw watching a soppy film with a hot chocolate warming your hands while the lights on the tree twinkled. Yep it was the most wonderful time of year again....Christmas.

I have always loved Christmas and every year was the same I had always spent Christmas Day with my family. Growing up Christmas always consisted of lots of food and fun but this year would be different and there would be double the amount of fun and I couldn't wait to spend every second of it with the man that I love.

"I don't think it's going to fit" Alfie announced putting another case in to the boot of the Land Rover.

It was the week before Christmas. Me, Zoe, Joe and Alfie were currently trying to fit all the cases and presents in to the boot of the car. We was heading down to Wiltshire to have an early Christmas with Joe and his family.

The car was piled high, Nala was strapped in the back between me and Joe

"Goooooood morning guys" Alfie shouted from the front of the car starting his vlog. Zoe was attaching her camera to the windscreen to start the next day of vlogmas. Joe was next to me on his phone. I sat there with a smile upon my face taking it all in, feeling nervous and excited all at the same time.

We set off for our 2 hour drive to Wiltshire. This would be a first for me, I had never been to Joe's hometown before, nor had I met his family or friends and to do it at Christmas filled me with nerves, i tried to focus on Christmas and push the rest to the back of my mind. We was staying with Joe and Zoe's Dad the for next 7 days as well as visiting his mum and his grandparents to say that I was crapping myself was an understatement.

"Turn it up" Joe shouted to Zoe

"This is a cracker, this one" Joe said with enthusiasm

"Christmas, the snows coming down, Christmas, I'm watching to fall" the two Suggs voices echoed out in to the car

"Christmas" Joe yelled as he vlogged, swaying trying to dance in the car as much as he could

"Christmas, baby please come home" me and Alfie joined in with the two of them singing at the top of our lungs

The ride down was quick and fun. Zoe had played every Christmas song you could think of. She was very much like me when it came to Christmas. After the first 10 songs Joe and Alfie had enough and started to get sick and tired of it and they protested that we changed the genre of music.

"Can we please put something else on, anything" Alfie pleaded

"Nope" Zoe said

"Please" Joe huffed

"No, you two it's Christmas and you have to listen to, Christmas songs" Zoe told them

"Yes it's the law, it's the only time you can play them" I added

"But there's only so much all Micheal buble I can listen to" Joe complained

"You was loving it earlier" I told him

"Yes, But I've listen to it more times in the last hour than I have in my whole life"

"Yeah yeah, Zoe play it again" I chuckled as she played it again.

We were on the home stretch to Joe's and Zoe's dads house and my singing came to a halt, my stomach tied up in knots, my mouth was dry, that no amount of fluid would moisten it up. We were nearly there and I was crapping myself. I sat there gazing out the window taking in the beautiful scene of rolling hills small winding lanes, Little picture postcard cottages.
