The Big Question - Part 1

"Zoe I need your help" Joe mumbled down phone

"Where are you? Aren't you meant to be in South Africa"

"Erm Yeah, No" he stuttered down the line

"Don't tell me you got on the wrong flight or something?"

"Not exactly, I wasn't on planning to going anyway" Joe went on to explain how he had told everyone that he was going to South Africa on Boxing Day as he had done in the previous years, but this year he wasn't and no one but the boys knew that he was spending this new year in London and for one reason only.

"I need your help, can you come to London" he pleaded down the phone before Zoe started asking why he wanted to spend new year in London.

Joe had spent the last month diving in and out of shops, looking and searching for the perfect item but the frustration was getting to him, there were so many different choices he just didn't know and it had to be prefect. He knew he needed his sisters help and opinion on a certain item that he wanted to purchase.

Finally Zoe and Alfie had arrived in London to help Joe on his quest, leaving the apartment the siblings and Alfie in tow headed out.

"Joe I really don't understand, what's going on" Zoe told him as they walked along Oxford street

"Yeah man" Alfie added

"It just need your help ok, please" he begged his sister too nervous to tell her what he had planned

"Let's go in here" Joe stuttered as he started pushing his hair back which he tends to do when he was nervous.

"What" she said looking at the two boys Alfie shrugged not sure what was going on either

"Hello" one of the employees smiled warmly to the three of them as they walked through the door, "How can I help you" at that Joe felt sick and blushed.

He was nervous not knowing how his sister and her boyfriend would react to what Joe was planning. Zoe's eye widened as she took in the stores display, until it hit her to the real reason why she was there, a smile grew on her face, she took one look at Alfie who stood there in shook and then to her brother.

"Emm, yeah I was here the other day looking for a ring" Joe finally answered the employee.

"You're....you're going to propose to Y/N" Zoe said grabbing her brother bringing him in for a close hug

"Good on ya bro" Alfie said giving him height fives

"This explains everything....I'm so excited" Zoe squealed

"Now help me figure out what ring Y/N would like cause I haven't got a bloody clue" he asked them smiling excited of the prospect of having Y/N as his wife.

A hour later after finally deciding on the prefect ring, the three of them emerged from then jewellers with the ring safety tucked in Zoe's bag as she couldn't trust Joe look after it, a nervous felling started to wash over Joe, he couldn't believe that in a few days he was going to ask Y/N to marry him, he knew it was something he had wanted to for a while but now he was one step closer to doing it

"What if she doesn't like it" Joe asked his sister nervously with a worried look on his face as the three of them sat in Wagamamas.

Zoe rolled her eyes at him "Joe, Y/N is going to love it, don't worry, so when do you plan on asking her"

"New Years eve at midnight" he says then paused "Is that to cringe" he the asks

"No it's romantic" Zoe gushed "what about location"

"Huh, location" he repeats his sisters words

"Yes Joe, where are you going to ask her"

"Oh right" Joe sits here silent for a moment his expression changes "Shit, I hadn't thought about that"

"Core your cutting the planning a bit fine bro" Alfie told him

"Erm are you going to surprise her at home or take her somewhere like a restaurant or to park and don't forget your meant to be in South Africa" Zoe pointed out to him

They sat there in silence for a few moment while Joe racked his brain thinking about this.

"I know" he says finally having a plan

"How about New Years eve I turn up and surprise her, take her on the London eye for the New Years fireworks in our own little pod and I'll propose there, she always wanted to go on the London eye and what prefect night to do it, what do you think"

"Sounds great" Zoe clapped her hands with excitement

"But new year eve is in 2 days man" Alfie remarked

"Alright Alfie, I know, don't worry I'll get it sorted out today"

"I can't believe your doing this" Zoe gushed

"You don't think I'm rushing it" he said worriedly

"Don't be silly, that women loves you" Zoe tells him

"I hope she says yes"

"Of course she will say yes" Zoe smiles

"You don't know that"

"Maybe I do"

"How" Joe questions his sister

"Because girls talk about these things and I know a lot things you don't" she smirks "Now stop worrying" Zoe squeezed his hand.
