Misunderstanding - Part 1

"Y/N!" Jack said as he opened the door to his Apartment. Y/N was standing there with a bag in tow, looking very worse for wear. Her eyes were red it looked like she had been crying her make up was smudge her face was blotchy. What the hell, he thought to himself.

"I'm sorry..." she managed as tears started to well up in her eyes "I didn't know where else to go" she finally said.

He took a step forward and lightly touched her arm "Come inside" he said allowing her in the door.

He watch as the sad girl dropped her bag on the floor and slumped back in to the sofa. What the hell happened why was she in this state he had only saw her last night and she wasn't upset then, she was happy full of smiles, laughter like Y/N always was.

"Are you okey?" He asked concerned taking a seat next to her. He watched her for a moment her eyes were full with tears waiting to escape.

"What happened.....you can talk to me" Jack told her softly as he rubbed her back.

"It's Joe...." she paused as the tears that surrounded her eyes now escaped down her cheeks uncontrollably.

"What about Joe? What happened?" Jack asked trying to make sense of what she was trying to say.

Had something happened between the two of them. They had been together a while and always had been that happy couple they never really argued or fell out.

"We broke up" Y/N managed to say in between sobs

"What!...You broke up" Jack repeated her words

She nodded as she wiped the teas away from her eyes.

"I haven't got no where else to go" she sobs

"Hey don't worry about the you can take my bed and I'll sleep on the couch it's not a problem" he told her giving her another rub on her back to soothe her.  It's the last thing she should be worrying about right now.

"So why you break up" Jack wondered

"He cheated on me" she said softly. He could see the pain build up inside of her as she spoke them words

"Really?" Jack question in shock that Joe would do something like that

"Yes really" she cried

"His a fucking idiot" Jack said with anger that was building up inside him. How the hell could Joe do this to Y/N. He was angry he never though Joe was like that how could Joe hurt Y/N like this, they were the hot couple, they were happy and in love but while all that was going on, all this front he was cheating on her behind her back.

They sat in silence for a few moments while he tied to comfort Y/N as well as trying to push his own emotions aside. Nothing stopped him from going around to Joes right now and having a few words with his friend, but he knew Y/N didn't need that.

"I'm going to go to bed if that's ok" Y/N said once tears had finally stopped.

He didn't push for anymore information, Jack understood that she didn't want to talk about what happened, it was late she was tired and she was emotionally exhausted

"Sure help yourself" he told her as he grabbed her bag and lead her in to the bedroom.

"If you need anything just shout" he told her as he went to leave the room, leaving Y/N sitting on the bed taking her shoes off
