"Where is he" I grumble to myself as I refreshed my laptop for the 100th time.
I was sitting in the spear room of the Zalfie household, waiting for my nightly video call with my boyfriend Joe.
Zoe had decided that I should come and spend sometime with her and Alfie instead of being alone at home on my own while Joe was off working out in L.A with Caspar. It was the first time we had been away from each other for more than a week, and I'm not going to lie I found it god damn hard. we had been skypeing daily, the same time every night plus with the odd text here and there when he was free, but I didn't compare having him here with me and in my arms.
Currently the three of us was having a relaxing movie night but I had slipped up stairs to have my schedule Skype call with my boyfriend, but 20 minutes had passed and he wasn't even online.
Seconds later the computer started to ringing out, the sound I had been longingly to hear. I quickly pressed the accept button and sat up.
Seconds later his face appeared on the screen full of smiles causing me to grin from ear to ear.
"Hello love" his soft voice echoed out of the speakers
"Hey"
"Sorry I was late calling, but we was at a meeting and it ran later and there was traffic" he said with worry
"It's fine"
"Hey!!! Is that my hoddie" he question pointing towards the sugg life hoodie that I was wearing.
"No" I mouthed shyly
"It is" he smiled. "Iv been looking for that I thought I had packed it"
"Oh shush"
"Where's yours" he questioned
"Mine is just not as comfy" I stated as I wrapped my arms around myself, taking in the scent, his scent.
"There the same love" he chuckled "but it's kinda sweet" he added
"Well I miss you and it makes me feel closer to you" I embarrassedly told him
"I miss you soooo much Y/N" he announced
"I'm never going away this long with out you again next time your coming with me" he said as he smiled, which only cause me to let out a giggle.
"I know, but it's not always possible" I sighed
"Anything is possible love"
"Joe, Joe!" I heard the South African accent call out of the speakers
"What's up buddy" Joe asked turning away from the camera "I'm just on Skype with Y/N"
Seconds later he was back in shot along with the tall blonde
"Hey Y/N" Caspar said giving a cheeky wave towards the camera
"Hey Casp" I said back giving him a wave
"We need to get going Joe, we got an important dinner" Caspar announced to Joe
"Ok!....give me 5 minutes" I heard him say
"Bye Y/N" Caspar said waving to the camera
"Bye Caspar" I laughed at the South African
"Sorry about that love....but I'm going to have to go" he said offering me a small smile.
"It's fine you go and do what you got to do" I said with a smile, but deep down I was feeling a little gutted but I knew it wouldn't be long till he was home.
"Thanks love.....I text you later gorgeous" he told me.
I loved it when he called me gorgeous it warmed my heart and made me feel like I was floating on air.
"Bye handsome" I beamed at the camera
"Don't forget I love you" he beamed at me sweetly
"And I love you too Joe"
Moments later the call was wrapped up and ended, shutting my laptop, I placed it on the side of the bed and made my way downstairs to join Zalfie.
"Did you get hold of him" Zoe asked as I entered the room and sat down on the sofa.
"Yeah it was only a short one" My eyes dropped as I started to play with the cuff of Joe's sugg life hoddie
"I'm sure he's just busy, it's ok to miss him, even I miss that weirdo sometimes" she said with chuckle
"Come on movie time" she announced getting off the sofa to choose a DVD causing Nala to jump up and make her way over to me.
"Hello Alan" I said stroking her behind the ears
"Not you as well" Zoe said rolling her eyes at Y/N
An hour had past, we was half way through the film, Zoe was cuddle up on the sofa under a soft throw, with Nala nestled beside her, while Alfie was editing his latest video.
When my phone beeped, I grabbed it off the coffee table, to see it was from Joe it was a picture message she opened it:

I smiled from ear to ear at the picture that had just came through, oh what I would do to go and cuddle with him now, to be wrapped in his arms, to feel him next to me. I snuggled down in to his hoodie smelling his scent making me feel warm a cozy.
"I'm guessing that's Joe" Zoe asked making me lose my train of thought
"Mum-hmm" I said still staring at the picture in front of me
"I could tell, your face just lit up" she giggled making my cheeks turn red.
I draw my attention back to my phone and started to type.
"I wanna cuddle so bad" I hit send
Seconds later my phone beeped "I know the bed is so cold with out you"
"I know, not long" I sent back
"Only 2 days, 2 hours, 21 minutes and 6 seconds" I read
