Harold sat down at the table as Mrs. Doonshim was standing and talking. He heard this speech a thousand times and he was getting tired of it. He looked around and saw familiar faces and newbies in the room. "And we want to thank the people who contribute their time and effort." Said Mrs. Doonshim as an uproar of cheers and glasses clinking was heard.

"We need to go check on the machine." Said Harold standing up. "I'll go with you." Said Aaron standing up as well. "Okay, be careful." Said Sarah. Harold and Aaron walked out of the room and down the hall. A few minutes later they reached the room and saw a security guard. They showed him their passes and he opened the door, they walked in and walked over to their stand.

"Is that light supposed to be on?" Asked Aaron pointing to a small red light blinking. "Nah, I must've left it on when checking it." Said Harold switching it off. "The machine is good, let's head back." Said Harold. They walked back to the rehearsal dinner and ate, and talked, and relaxed. A couple hours later they were in their rooms relaxing.

It was 6:00 AM when Harold's alarm went off. He woke up and got dressed in his comfortable clothes, jeans, a plaid shirt, and his lab coat. He grabbed his room key, phone, and his I.D for the convention and he walked down to the restaurant. "Table for one please." Said Harold. "Okay, right this way." Said the hostess leading Harold through the tables and sat him at a small table outside.

"Anything I can get you?" Asked a waitress walking over to Harold. "Coffee, bacon, eggs, toast, and a huge glass of orange juice." Said Harold. "Right away sir." Said the waitress taking Harold's menu and walking away. Harold looked around and watched the sunrise.

A few minutes later the waitress came back with his coffee and orange juice. "The food will be out in a few minutes." Said the waitress. "Thank you." Said Harold taking a sip of his coffee.

His breakfast was delivered and he ate it all. He set his fork and knife down and stood up. "He wrote his room number down and walked out the door. He walked over to the convention hall and showed the security man his I.D and he walked in. He walked up to a table and there was a guy sitting there. "Ah, Harold. Welcome back." Said the man handing Harold a key. "What is this for?" Asked Harold. The man looked at Harold and wrote a note on paper and then handed it to Harold. Harold took the note and walked towards his booth. Aaron was there setting up. "Hey you could've waited for me to do pre-check procedures." Said Harold. Aaron shrugged. "I can do it just as well by myself." Said Aaron. "Well I'm glad you haven't tried it yet so people could see. Now we just have to wait for the judges." Said Harold.

Aaron climbed down from his perch and handed Harold the controller. "Does this need to be connected?" Asked Aaron. "Yeah, to that stand behind it with the bullet proof glass." Said Harold. Aaron walked over and set the controller in place and started to bolt it down. "Where are we on the list?" Asked Harold. "We are number 34." Said Aaron. "Better than last year, we were number 178." Said Harold laughing. "Well it takes an average of five to ten minutes on each creators machine." Said Aaron. "I've done consecutive timing on ours and it takes around four minutes." Said Harold.

Time passed by and after a couple hours they reached Harold and Aaron. "Now who and what do we have here?" Asked a judge. "We are from Kang Islands and I am Dr. Harold, with my colleague Dr. Aaron. We have invented a teleportation device this year." Said Harold. "Does it work?" Asked a judge. "Ma'am if I may, it works one hundred percent. Dr. Harold is a willing test subject." Said Aaron. "Well why don't you show us how it works." Said the judge.

Harold stepped onto the pad and nodded towards Aaron who pushed the green button. The pad increased in light and then Harold disappeared. Aaron tapped his foot. "What is supposed to happen?" Asked the judge. "He is supposed to return onto the other pad." Said Aaron. "Has it ever done this?" Asked the judge. "No, never." Said Aaron.

"We are sorry, but since your creation did not work. We can't let you move onto the next round." Said the judge. Aaron sighed and looked down. Sarah walked up to him. "Where did Harold go?" Asked Sarah. "I don't know." Said Aaron. "Well we have to go find him." Said Sarah. "I have an idea." Said Aaron standing on the pad. "No. I can't do this." Said Sarah. "What do you mean?" Asked Aaron. "We just lost your father, I'm not going to lose you." Said Sarah. "Exactly. He is my father, I need to go find him." Said Aaron. "No, I'm sorry." Said Sarah. "Sarah, you're like family to me. If you loved me like you've said, you'd press that green button." Said Aaron.

Sarah pondered for a moment before looking up at Aaron with tears in her eyes. "Fine, you're right, I've almost lost your father one too many times, his son is going to find him. But Aaron, come home safely, and bring your father back." Said Sarah. Aaron smiled and looked at Sarah. "I promise." Said Aaron. "Goodbye Aaron." Said Sarah as she pressed the green button. The pad whirred up and the lights flashed as the pad warmed up and then a flash of white light and Aaron disappeared.

Sarah walked over to the table and grabbed a walkie talkie. "I need everyone in the Kang Party to come and get the teleportation device and load up onto the planes." Said Sarah
