Harold opened his eyes and he looked in front of him. He was on his side and outside the window was a huge crevice reaching into the inner depths of Mars. He sat up and licked his lips. He tasted blood in his mouth and he spat it out. He walked over to the console and reached for the power button. He pressed it and the whole thing sparked and died.

Sik looked around and saw Harold sitting up. "Harold." Said Sik. "Yeah Sik?" Asked Harold. "The air is breathable." Said Sik. "Okay, good." Said Harold taking off his cracked helmet. He squirmed out of his suit and sat on the ground. "Where's Aaron?" Asked Harold.

Sik looked around and saw that Aaron was against the wall and was knocked out. "He's over there." Said Sik pointing at Aaron. Harold nodded and crawled over to him. "Aaron, wake up. You need to wake up." Said Harold. Aaron groaned and rolled over. "What is it?" Asked Aaron. "We need to go find the next piece." Said Harold. "Ugh, not this." Said Aaron sighing. "Where's your bag?" Asked Harold. "It's over there." Said Aaron pointing at the yoke. The bag was hanging onto the yoke, right above the window.

"Sik. grab that bag." Said Harold. Sik started to reach for it when there was a loud cracking noise. The glass started to spider-web even more. "Hurry Sik." Said Harold. Sik grabbed the bag and tossed it to Harold who caught it. Sik jumped off the window as it cracked and shattered below him. He landed next to Harold and Aaron.

"You okay?" Asked Harold. "Fine, I don't feel pain." Said Sik. They stood up and Aaron put his bag over his shoulder. "Where's the next piece?" Asked Harold as they walked towards the doorway. They reached the door and Aaron pulled the piece out of his bag. "We'll see." Said Aaron. Sik pressed the button and the door didn't budge. "The power was cut from this section of the ship. There's a huge pipe on the wiring, it ripped through it in the wreck." Said Sik.

"Dang. Okay, is there any other way out of this ship?" Asked Harold. "There is the maintenance door, but we need a key." Said Sik. Then use brute force to open it if we have to." Said Harold. "Good idea." Said Aaron. "Where is it?" Asked Harold. "On the side of the ship. Down this hallway." Said Sik. There was a loud bang and the ship moved forward.

"What was that?" Asked Aaron. Harold looked out the window and a huge monstrous face jumped towards the window. Harold fell back and looked at Aaron and Sik. "I don't know what that is. But it is scary." Said Harold. There was another bang and the ship slid forward again. "Only a few more hits and we will go over the side." Said Aaron.

"We need to get weapons." Said Harold. "I still have my sword." Said Aaron. "I can fight them with my fists." Said Sik. "I will find a gun." Said Harold as he walked over to a wall locker and pulled out a gun. There was another bang and they fell to the ground. The ship started to tilt a tiny bit.

"We need to get to that maintenance door." Said Harold. "We can't make it." Said Sik. "What do you mean?" Asked Harold. "The door is too far away. The ship will be falling as we get to the door. The best we can do is jump out the window and land on the small piece of rock jutting out of the cliff." Said Sik.

"How is that possible to make?" Asked Aaron looking at the piece of land jutting out of the cliff. "Easy, jump." Said Harold pushing Aaron. Sik jumped down and landed next to Aaron. They ran into the small cave. Harold was about to jump when another bang rattled the ship and it scooted farther.

"The ship is too far forward." Said Harold looking below down the crevice. "Go save yourselves." Said Harold. "No, Harold we can't leave you said Sik. "We won't." Said Aaron. "A-0" Said Harold. "Yes. Of course Harold." Said Sik dragging Aaron farther into the cave. "Sik! "A-1! A-1!" Yelled Aaron as he screams got quieter and quieter. There was another bang and the ship slid forward enough to start tilting more. Harold grabbed a harness on the seat as the ship slide to a close 90 degree angle. Harold held on as things slide past him and out the window and into the crevice. Something slid by and slammed into his leg, it went numb and he tried to pull himself up.

He looked up as something rammed the ship and it slid off the side of the cliff. He started to float up as wind rushed past his head. He pulled himself into the seat and strapped in. He yanked on the red chord next to his seat. There was a loud cranking noise as a hole in the roof slid open and the seat flew out of it. Harold watched as the ship fell into the crevice and exploded at the bottom. The heat surrounded Harold as he fell towards the burning wreckage.

He pressed the red button on the side of the seat and a parachute opened up. There was a loud snap as one of the ropes snapped. Harold held onto the seat for dear life as it slowed slightly on descent to the ground. He braced for impact as the seat slammed into the ground and bounced and slid onto its side.

Sik dragged Aaron who was laying limp in his arms tired of yelling a crying. "A-1. Please Sik. Listen to me. You're more human than machine. You can choose who to listen to." Said Aaron. Sik stopped and looked at him. "I can't override commands given to me with special codes." Said Sik. "A-1" Said Aaron. "I can't allow you to override this command." Said Sik. "A-1-0" Said Aaron. "The stronger code won't help." Said Sik.
