Taylor's POV

"Could you pass me the salad?" I say as we sit around the dining table. The food was amazing - I really miss my mom's cooking.

"Here you go." My dad says as I reach out my hand to take the salad bowl from him.

"Taylor!Is that a ring!?" Selena exclaims. I blush slightly and look over at Adam.

"Yeah." I say and chuckle softly.

"Wait, is my baby getting married!?" Mom says. I turn to Adam which gives me a nod of approval.

"Yes!" I say excitedly. Lots of congratulations are said and I couldn't stop smiling.

After dinner mom pulls me into the kitchen to talk. I take a seat at the island.

"Honey, I'm so happy for you but don't you think you're going a little...fast?"

"I know mom but it honestly just feels right."

"I know baby but I just don't want you to get hurt. You're only 26 and you're adopting a child and getting married with a man you've haven't even known for two years."

"Mom I couldn't be happier right now. It all seems right. It all is right."

"Ok and I trust you but please just be careful. I love you."

"I love you too mom."

"Come on Leah, time for bed." I say. I tuck her in her bed and I start to sing her a song to put her to sleep...

I watch as she sleeps for a little before getting up and walking out the room, closing the door as softly as I could behind me. I walk down the stairs and to the living room where the rest of my family are.

"Is she asleep?" Austin asks.

"Yeah." I say and snuggle on the couch next to Adam.

"So, have you found the house you're looking for yet?" My dad asks.

"Actually, there's been a change of plans. We're thinking of moving to Nashville instead." I say as I watch my parents faces light up.

"That's great! I'll get to watch my little grandbaby grow up! And we'll always be close to help out!" My mum says happily. I smile and Adam leans into me and gives me a kiss.

"Eww." Austin says. I pick up a pillow and throw it at him, laughing.

"Some things never change." Dad chuckles.

I think about whether or not I should ask the question on my mind. I really need to know the answer but I'm scared if it isn't the answer I'm looking for.

"You guys are ok with Adam and I adopting, right?" I ask.

"Baby, I'll support you no matter what. Please never doubt that." Mom says. Dad and Austin nod agreeing to what mom said. I relax now that I know my family would support me and be happy with the choices I'm making. Sure, my mum was a little worried I was going to fast. But at the end of the day, she would always be my constant cheerleader. Always supporting me.

I pull a blanket over me and Adam and we snuggle up on the couch whilst making conversation with my family. For the most part I was daydreaming; listening in every once in a while. I imagined how my life would be a year from now. I imagined watching Leah grow up. I imagined my wedding day. Life was perfect for me right now.

I must have fallen asleep on the couch because next thing I know is Adam is carrying me upstairs to the bedroom. I don't let him know I'm awake because I don't feel like walking up the stairs. I feel the soft comfort of the bed hit my back. I drift off to sleep with no other feeling than pure happiness.

There isn't much drama yet but just you wait...

Also it isn't very clear but Austin and Selena are dating here.
