Adam's POV
I woke up the next morning by the sudden impact of a toddler jumping onto my stomach. I groan and try to pull the duvet higher so it covers my face but the little human erupts into a fit of giggles.
"Daddyyyy!" She says, dragging out the 'y'. "Mommy said I have to wake yous up cuz it's already late." She explains, tugging at the duvet. I turn to face the clock on the bedside and in fact it was already 11.30am.
"Oh wow, you're mommy's right. It is late. Well, good morning beautiful." I say, pulling my daughter close for a hug. Her arms wrap around my neck and she squeezes me a little too tightly but I don't say anything. I like the affection, despite the struggling to breathe part. I pull the covers off my body and hop out of bed. Leah toddles along beside me and we walk downstairs.
"Someone finally decided to make an appearance. Oh wait, no, they had their 3 year old daughter wake them up." Taylor says, coming over. I place a quick kiss on her lips and she just smiles and shakes her head. "Well there's no point in you having breakfast. And care to explain why you're so tired this morning?"
"I don't even know. Long day in the studio yesterday, didn't sleep well last night. Just stressed." Taylor rubs my arm in a comforting way.
"Aw I'm sorry babe. Maybe today we can just have a relaxed day and watch a movie or something..."
"MOVIE DAY!" Leah cheers.
"Sounds good to me." I say.
"The fishies one daddy. The one with the fishies!"
"Oh yes, you wanted to watch finding nemo didn't you bug?" Leah nods her head happily and pulls me into the living room. The 3 of us settle down on the sofa and Taylor puts on finding nemo. Leah instantly falls in love with the film and is soon off of the couch and right in front of the TV screen, jumping up and down to point to the different characters. Taylor and I both chuckle a little at her cuteness and I take out my phone to capture the moment. I don't post it anywhere though. I just sent it to my mum.
A little while later, Leah is back with us on the couch. She curls into Taylor, resting her head under Taylor's chin. I can see Taylor whispering a couple words into Leah's ear but I can't quite make out what the words are. I smile at the interaction as Leah turns to face Taylor and kisses her on the cheek before returning to watching the movie.

Taylor's POV
The rest of the day was pretty relaxing. After asking Adam what we should have for dinner, he suggests we go out. I tense up at the idea but agree to it. He told me to dress nice as he had a nice place in mind so I head upstairs to take a shower.
After showering I walk into my closet and go through things to wear. I pick out a loose dark purple dress, some black heels and my purse. I call for Leah and she quickly appears in my room.
"Let's get you dressed then." I say, taking her hand and leading her to her room.
"You look really pwetty, mommy."
"Thank you for saying that sweetie. Now how about this?" I ask with a light pink dress in my hand.
"This one more, mommy." She says, tugging at another dress in her closet.
"You like that dress more?" I ask to clarify what she meant.
"Mmm hmm..." she hums.
