( Jisoo's POV )

It's been 5 minutes since Rosé and I have been standing outside of the front door of the mansion because I was too scared to enter.

" Wait, not yet," I told Rosé for the tenth time as she was going  to push the doorbell.

" Oh come on!" She exclaimed, " Whatever you do, stay strong."

" Okay," I took a deep breath and allowed her to push the doorbell.

" Welcome!" Tao's father greeted us, " You're Jisoo and you're Rosé, correct?"

" Yes," Rosé replied, looking a bit confused.

" That's Tao's father," I whispered.

" Please, call me appa," He commanded, " Come on in, make yourself at home!" Well, we had to make ourselves at home cause we were living there now. He's acting like the two of us had a choice.

" There are my sisters!" We heard Jennie shout. I looked at Jennie to see her gliding down the grand staircase like a queen, while Tao dragged his feet behind her. He looked really unhappy. Jennie hugged Rosé and I and asked, " How are you two?!" I've never seen her happier.

" Great!" Rosé replied looking at me.
" That's awesome!" Jennie exclaimed.
" Sup sis," Tao said approaching Rosé.
" Hey bro," she responded while they fist bumped each other.

" Oh, hi Jisoo!" He smiled, embracing me in his arms.

" Hi," I mumbled, trying not to touch him. Mr. Huang thankfully interrupted and gave Rosé and I a house tour which took about an hour. This mansion was the size of a castle.

I was in my new bedroom, organizing my clothes and what not when I heard the door open. I glanced at the door to see Jennie approaching me.

" Oh, hey Jennie," I said in a warm tone.
Closing the door she said, " Yeah hi," she was sounding a bit annoyed, " I have something to tell you."

" What is it?" I asked putting my hair up into a ponytail.

" You see," she started, " I'm gonna need you to stay out of my life. Like, from now on. I don't wanna see you talking to Tao, or interacting with him in any way. However, if you fail to follow this simple rule, I'm gonna kick you out of the house." I was shocked. I couldn't respond, it felt like I couldn't even breathe anymore.

" I hope you get the point, loser," she stroked my hair. After she strutted out of the room and shut the door like nothing ever happened.

( Rosé's POV )

" Jennie!" I called her. I heard everything she said to Jisoo just now. EVERYTHING.

" Yes," she answered entering my bedroom. Locking the door, I asked her, " What was that?"
" What was what?" She questioned.
" Don't try to act all innocent," I said, walking around her in circles, " I heard everything."
" So what?" She asked, shrugging her shoulders.
" Once Mr. Huang sees your true colors, he'll never want anyone like you marrying his son," I warned her.

" I'll make sure you won't be able to say a word," she smirked, " You have no idea of what I'm capable of, Park Chae- young." Before I could utter another word, she had already unlocked the door and run away. I decided to go over to Jisoo's room and tell her everything that just happened.

" She's right, you have no idea what she's capable of," Jisoo commented.

"Really?" I asked, " I thought she only said that to scare me."

" One time, in fifth grade, when I was getting bullied, she threw a ball at the bully and broke his nose," she told me.

" Oh," was all I could say. Looks like I need to watch my back... Literally...
