( Jisoo's POV )

" What's wrong?" I asked as I approached Lisa.

" T- Tao," she stuttered, " He's in the Seoul National University Hospital, he was hit by a car." Before she could continue, I kicked of my 6 inch high heels and bolted to the hospital.

" Jisoo!" Lisa shouted as Jennie, Rosé and she ran after me. A few minutes later we had arrived in front of the hospital.

" My legs hurt," Jennie panted while the three of them finally caught up to me.

The four of us  walked through the two big glass doors, revealing Tao. Half of his face was covered in blood and the nurses were putting him onto a stretcher while I stood there, horrified.

" You go with him, we'll deal with everything else," Rosé told me.

I turned around to see Lisa filling out a form and Jennie calling our friends and  family  to tell them what had happened.

I nodded my head and followed the nurses to his room. Thankfully there was a long glass window by his room, because no one was allowed inside at the time.

I was sitting down on one of the chairs outside of Tao's room when I heard crying. I looked to my left to see Lisa standing in front of a  statue of Jesus, praying for Tao.

" Hey," I began as I put my hand on her shoulder, " I'm pretty sure everything's gonna be alright."

" Really?" She turned around while she was wiping her mascara with a tissue.

" Really," I smiled as I comforted her.

" There's my daughter - in - law," Tao's dad said as he hugged me, " You're okay, right?"

" I'm fine," I replied.

Later on, my parents and Amma arrived then some of Tao's friends as well. All of us were chatting when I heard someone say, " It was  an accident." I got up from my seat and walked around the corner to see Tae- Hwan talking to a policeman.

" I didn't mean to hit him, really," he continued, " I love his fiancée, Kim Jisoo very much, and if she loves him then I shouldn't hurt him. Cause, if I hurt him, then I'll hurt her."

Everyone else who I was talking to got up and began spying on me, thinking that I didn't know that they were. I slowly stepped toward Tae- Hwan and coughed to get his attention.

" Oh, hey Jisoo-"

I cut him off when I greeted him with a harsh slap in his face.

" How can I ever love someone like you!" I argued, " You expect me to love a guy who hurts the people I care about!"

" I'm sorry-"

" Sorry isn't gonna cut it!" I interrupted him. He hung his head in shame as I stormed off in the other direction.

I peered into the Tao's room  as tears began streaming down my face. They were doing an x- ray on him and I was praying that nothing bad would've happened.

" The Huang family," one of the doctors announced indicating that he had some news for us.

Basically  he said that  Tao had some fluid in his lungs and they had to perform surgery on him the next day. Then, he would have to spend some more nights in the hospital for him to recover, so he would be discharged in a week.

" Thank you doctor," I said as I bowed.

The next night

( Lisa's POV )

Now it's 7:00p.m. and I'm here in Tao's room just to pay him a little visit. Even though he's asleep, I still came here to update everyone on how he's doing. I was standing by his bed staring down at his face when I heard the door open. I turned around to see Tae- Hwan entering.

" What do you want," I snapped as I quickly stared back down at Tao.

" I feel horrible," he said, " I came to check on him. Did I tell you that I'm paying for all of this?"

" No," I muttered in response.

"What's your relationship with him?" He asked.

" I'm his ex girlfriend," I replied as I played with my necklace.

He sighed, "Let's take care of him together,"  he then held my hand. At first, I felt a little uncomfortable as I was surprised by his actions. But I then got used to it, so I intertwined my fingers with his as he and I looked at each other.
