The Truth Hurts ( HIATUS )

Chapter 10

( Tao's POV )

I was pretty pumped when Rosé texted me about the good news. Not just because I had fallen in love with Jisoo, but also because my father told that me if I didn't get Jennie or Jisoo to marry me, then he would be the one to choose. All I had to do now was tell my father that I wanted to marry Jisoo. I was visiting him for lunch, so I thought that would be the perfect time to tell him.

( Jisoo's POV )

Rosé had already left for school so Jennie and I were left eating in silence.
" See you," Jennie waved at me while she walked to the front door.
" Where are you-" before I could finish my sentence, she had already shut the door.

( Jennie's POV )

I was on my way to Mr. Huang's house ( Tao's dad ) to drop off some food for him to eat for lunch, just to get him to like me. Knocking on the front door of his mansion, I shouted, " Hello! Mr. Huang? Are you home? It's Mr. Kim's daughter, Jennie!"

Opening the door, he smiled and told me, " Why, hello Jennie. Come on in." I then entered his house and was amazed by how spacious it was.

" What brings you here?" He asked. I then snapped out of my thoughts and replied, " Oh, I prepared some lunch for you," I then handed him the boxes of food and followed him into the kitchen where put the food down on the kitchen island and led me into the living room, where we sat and chatted for about three hours.

" So, have you found anyone you'd like to marry Tao?" I asked, hoping that he wouldn't say anything about Jisoo.

" No," Mr. Huang answered, shaking his head," But, I wouldn't mind if you marry him, that's, of course, if you're okay with it..."

" I'm more than okay with that," I smirked.

( Tao's POV )

I arrived at my dad's house for lunch and when I arrived, I didn't know that I was in for the shock of my life.

" Tao, you're home!" My dad shouted, patting my back.

" I'm here," I laughed. I was about to tell him about Jisoo, when he interrupted me and said, " I've decided on a girl whom I want you to marry, we'll have lunch with her today, when she comes out of the restroom." At that very moment, I crossed my fingers and prayed that she was Jisoo.

" There she is!" My father exclaimed. I looked in front of me to see him bringing... Jennie! He was bringing Jennie down the staircase. No, this can't be!
" Hi Tao," Jennie smiled.

" The wedding will be in the next 3 months, I'll tell my servants to begin writing up the invitations," dad informed Jennie and me, " It's official."

Before I could speak up, Jennie ran towards me and began clinging onto my arm.
" Yay!" She hugged me. I felt like my entire world just ended.

( Jennie's POV )

Mission, accomplished! Take that Jisoo! Anyway, while we were eating the food I prepared ( I made sushi, cause I'm a boss ) we discussed wedding plans like the date, place, etc. I was so excited. My phone vibrated and it was a text from Jisoo.

Jisoo: Yah! Where are you? I'm bored!

" I'm so sorry, but I have to go," I waved, " Bye!" I kissed Tao on the cheek and made my way back to the penthouse. I wanted to tell Jisoo what happened myself, but I thought that I'd wait for her to get the invitation.
