Chapter 33

3 months later

( Jisoo's POV )

" Ugh, this place is so small," Jennie scoffed. It was one day until the wedding and we had just arrived at Jeju island. We entered the beach house which Tao owned and Jennie already had a million issues. I didn't understand what was wrong with a five bedroom house though.

" Take my bags up to my room!" Jennie ordered as she threw her bags into her assistant's arms, " Turn up the air condition in here, it's hot. And don't forget to tell the chefs to cook lobster for dinner!"
" I'm sorry ma'am, but I can't-"

" Don't talk back to me!" She snarled, " Go do your job!" Being Jennie's assistant is a nightmare. She's gotten even bossier ever since she found out that she was getting married into a rich family. She continued to lecture her poor assistant while Lisa, Rosé and I were busy exploring the house.

" Wow! Look at this view!" Rosé exclaimed.

" So pretty!" Lisa added. I was quiet most of the time cause I fell back down into my depression state. Like how would you feel if the love of your life was being forced to marry someone who hates you to shreds?!

" Hey, I know what you're thinking," Rosé whispered, " Lisa must feel worse, she dated him for three years."

" You're kidding," I said as my eyes grew wide.

" She and Tao said it themselves while you were sleeping yesterday," she told me. At first, I thought I had even more competition, but then I remembered that Rosé said that they were exes, so then I realized that I had nothing to worry about.

I was upstairs in my room unpacking when I heard someone ask, " You okay?"

I swiftly turned around to see Jennie standing there with a small smile on her face.

"Since when do you care about me?" I questioned as I swallowed the lump in my throat.

" I came to apologize. I'm sorry for everything I did. It was all my fault, please don't blame Jia, " she  continued, " I feel terrible for what I did. Can you please forgive me?"

" I forgive you," I mumbled.

" Hear me out-" she cut herself off, " Wait, what?"

" I said I forgive you," I repeated as I embraced her in a tight hug.

" Look, I promise not to be  selfish and wicked to you anymore," She said, holding up her pinky finger.

" Sure," I giggled as I wrapped my finger around hers.

( Lisa's POV )

I was walking down the glass staircase and because I was wearing high heels, I tripped and fell. So much for trying to be a graceful model. I was about to hit my head on the railing when someone caught me. I dug my face into the person's chest and cried for a few seconds until I realized that that someone was Tao.

" You done?" He asked as he began to laugh.

" I guess," I sobbed. I then jumped out of his embrace when I realized that he was still holding me. Awkward...

" Uh, see you around, Lisa," he said, messing up my hair.

" See you," I waved as I began to fix my hair. I think my feelings for him are coming back...

The next day

( Jisoo's POV )

" You look beautiful," Rosé  told me.

" Oh, you look even more beautiful," I fake smiled.

Rosé, Lisa, Jennie and I were in a dressing room with makeup artists and hairstylists getting ready for the wedding while the guys were in another one. I realized that Lisa was acting pretty odd. She wasn't bubbly like she usually was, she was more quiet and sad looking... Like me.
