Chapter 14

( Jennie's POV )

I woke up early in the morning to go make Rosé some coffee before she woke up. I added some alcohol  in it so that she'll lose her voice. I wanted her to lose her voice just in case she was thinking of telling Tao anything.

I know Jisoo wouldn't say anything, cause she's afraid of everything. However, I asked Tao to give Rosé the coffee cause she wouldn't take anything from me.

( Tao's POV )

I saw Rosé walk into the kitchen so I gave her the drink from Jennie.

" Sup," I said to her, " Here's your coffee."

"Hey, thanks," she replied, " why does it smell so weird?" I just shrugged my shoulders because I didn't know. To be honest, it did smell a little funky. I guess she forgot about the smell because she finished drinking it pretty quickly.

" I got it from Jennie, you can ask her about the smell," I suggested.
" Whatever," she responded.
" Jennie!?" Jisoo exclaimed.

" Wait, Jennie?!" Rosé asked, as her mouth hung open, " I thought you said daddy! Like, I thought you meant that you got it from Mr. Huang!"

" She could've sneaked a pill in there or something!" Jisoo warned me.

"Screw me..." Rosé fake cried. I just scratched the back of my neck.

( Jennie's POV )

By tomorrow her voice should be gone... Not for forever, sadly.

( Jisoo's POV )

I was walking up the staircase to go change out of my sleeping clothes when I saw Jennie walking down.
" What did you put in Rosé's drink?" I asked, grabbing her arm.

" Let go of me!" She ordered.
" Answer my question first," I insisted.
" I said, let go of me!" She repeated. She then pushed me and I tumbled down the staircase. Before I could reach the floor, someone helped me up.

" Thanks, " I said to whoever it was. I looked behind me to see Tao.
" Why did you push her?" Tao asked in an angry tone of voice. I just stood behind him holding onto his arm.
" I didn't!" She lied, " She was going to push me down but-"

Tao then raised his hand up in the air as if he were going to slap her.  He didn't slap her though, he just made it look he was going to for her to shut up.
I was in my room taking a nap when I heard music blasting from Tao and Jennie's room. It had to be Jennie playing the music because Tao was in a meeting for work.

" Can you keep the noise down!" I shouted as I stuck my head into the room. She just ignored me and turned up the volume even louder.

" Urgh!" I groaned pulling my hair.  I ran back to my room to try to go back to sleep and while I was doing so, I heard the  bedroom door creak open. I looked at the door to see Mr. Huang peeking inside.
"Sorry to disturb you, Jisoo, I'm just hearing loud music and I'm trying to find out where it's coming from," he apologized.

" Oh, that's Jennie," I informed him. He then asked Jennie to turn down the music and instead of turning it down, she just stopped playing it.
" Thanks Mr. Hua-," I cut myself off, " I mean, appa."
"That's what I wanna hear," he praised me for calling him appa," and no problem."
