( Jisoo's POV )

" Rise and shine!" One of the housekeepers shouted while ringing a bell. It was the next morning and this was the morning that Tao and I were going to announce our marriage.

" Today's the big day!" I exclaimed as I hopped off of my bed.

" Huh," the housekeeper mumbled.

" Oh, uh," I fake laughed, " Nothing."

After having breakfast, Tao called the whole family into the foyer.
" Today, Jisoo and I have decided to inform you all about our future wedding," he announced as he hugged me.

" I object!" His dad shouted, " We're not spending money on another wedding for you to run away from it!"

" I don't even accept this relationship," Amma added.

" Please, give us a chance," I begged.

" I can't trust my own son, dear," Tao's dad said as he crossed his arms.

" I promise, nothing will go wrong," I persuaded him.

"... Fine," he finally agreed.

" Thank you!" I said excitedly as I bowed, " We won't let you down, appa!"

" Better not," he muttered.

Right after that, Tao and I ran to my room, moved my things into the room that he shared with Jennie and moved Jennie's things into my old room. Next we sat down in his office  for hours and discussed our wedding. We decided that we were going to get married near Han River and that I would borrow Jennie's wedding dress from her so called 'wedding' with him.

" Oh, wait," he said as he grabbed my wrist, " On the day of our wedding, wear the bracelet that I gave you."

" Why?" I asked out of curiosity.

" Cause, you'll know that I'm in danger if  it breaks," he told me.

" Oh, ok," I replied.

The day of the wedding

" Where is he?!" I groaned. It was the day of our wedding yet Tao still hasn't shown up yet.

" He's already ten minutes late," Lisa said as she checked her phone.

" Runaway groom," Rosé teased me.

" Shut up Rosé," Jennie rolled her eyes.

" To think my son was trustworthy," Tao's dad scoffed.

( Tao's POV )

I was walking along the pavement on my way to the wedding when I saw a little girl crossing. What she didn't realize was that a car was speeding towards her.

" Watch out!" I shouted as I pulled her out of the way.

" Eomma!" She screamed.  When the traffic light turned red, I then helped her across the street to go meet her mother.

" Thank you," she smiled as she began to lick her lollipop.

" No problem," I said, forgetting that I was standing in the middle of the road. I heard a car honking and I looked to my right to see Tae- Hwan driving towards me. A few seconds later, I found myself laying on the hard concrete. Then, everything turned black...

( Jisoo's POV )

I was walking around the area to see if Tao was anywhere to be found when I hit my hand against a pole.

" Ow!" I cried. I looked down to see the bracelet, shattered on the ground while my wrist began bleeding.

" Oh no," I said as I held my wrist in pain.

( Lisa's POV )

I found it odd that Tao was late for his big day, so I picked up Jisoo's phone and began scrolling through her contact list. I called Tao multiple times but he didn't answer. Then, I saw Tae- Hwan and figured that he would know where Tao was.

" H- hello," I answered, " Do you know anything about Tao?"

" I just knocked him over with my car by accident, we're taking him to the hospital," he quickly responded as my mouth hung open.

( Jisoo's POV )

" Tao!" I heard Lisa yell as her voice cracked. I turned around to see her staring down at my phone screen with her hand covering her mouth while a tear rolled down her face.
