THIS CHAPTER CONTAINS LOTS OF VIOLENCE. READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

( Jisoo's POV )
It was a Sunday morning so I woke up early to attend the morning mass at the nearby church.

" Do you need a ride there?" Mr. Huang offered.
" No, but thanks for offering, I don't wanna be the reason you don't get to enjoy your Sunday," I declined as I headed towards the door. The mass began and it ended in the blink of an eye.

I was walking back home in the blazing hot sun when my feet began to hurt, so I decided to take a breather under a shady tree located at the top of a cliff.

After building up energy again, I continued my journey on the road because there were no pavements. I heard a car honking behind me and I turned around to see a Mercedes Benz heading full speed towards me. Thankfully, I leaped to the side just before it could hit me.

I looked over to see who the driver was and it was my one and only... Jennie. I began running home just before she could get any bright ideas but it was too late. The car sped up and it hit me, making me fall face flat onto a huge rock.

Weakly, I managed to raise my head up and stare straight at Jennie, who was smirking. I felt something wet on my face, so I lightly touched it and there was blood smeared all over my forehead.

( Jennie's POV )
So what if I'm heartless. I gotta do what I gotta do to get what I want. And if that's ending Jisoo's life... Then so be it.

She struggled to stand up on her feet and when she did, she completely ignored my presence and continued limping down the street. Of course I'm not gonna let her get away so easily, so I ran up to her and dragged her by her braid to the edge of the rocky cliff.

" Stop!" I heard her cry as I pinned her down at the edge.
" You think I'm gonna let you get away like this!" I shouted as I slapped her across her bloody face.
" Yah!" She screamed.

" Any last words?!" I shouted, choking her. She began coughing up blood.

She then became quiet, as if she stopped breathing. I put my hand over her chest and felt one slow heartbeat still beating.

First, I ripped the bracelet that Tao had given her off of her hand. Like seriously, she wears that thing everywhere she goes. Then I tried to throw her off of the cliff but she hung on the one of the rocks and was dangling there. Strong.

I released her grip from the sharp rock and she proceeded to roll down the cliff while I stood there watching in amusement.

A/N: I wanted to make this chapter as cliche as possible lmao.
