Chapter 8 - Tell her

It was day 2 of filming but you didn't have any lines for what they were filming today but you were in the back for every scene apart from one.

Throughout filming, you would catch KJ watching you and every time he would start blushing when you noticed. The one scene you weren't in, neither was KJ and it was a long scene that would take a couple of hours to film.

"Hey Y/N" KJ came running after you as you began to head to the cast 'break' trailer for a sit down and something to eat.

"Hey KJ, what's up?" you smiled sweetly, making KJ fill with butterflies, you made him so giddy and nervous, but he loved it.

"I'm free now, fancy going to grab something to eat, i'll drive?" he asked, rubbing the back of his neck as if he was unsure

"Oh my god, that would be great, just what i need right now!" you quickly accept and touch his arm in a thankful way, this caused him to blush a lot, so much that he had to pretend to cough and look away. He gestured for you to follow him and you linked his arm to yours as you both laughed and began to walk away.

"GET IN THERE KJ" you hear Cole shout from set as you walk away.

"SHUT UP COLE" KJ shouts back and you just turn to Cole and laugh.

KJ drives you too a little cafe in the middle of nowhere, about 15 minutes from set. You walk in and find a table.

"It's so cute in here!" you say in awe

"Isn't it just, I love it here" he smiles while not taking his eyes off you as you get a good look of the place. "So what do you fancy?" he asks you.

"ummm, I think I will have an iced tea and cheese toastie" you reply, "What are you having?" you ask leaning in, letting him know he has your full attention.

"Think i am going for a black coffee and BBQ toastie" he looks up from the menu and smiles noticing you watching him, "I will go order"

"Let me know how much it is!"

"No don't worry it's on me", you smile

"Thankyou KJ"

He comes back with your food and drink,

"wow thankyou, looks good"

"smells good too" you both laugh

You spend an hour and a half in there just talking and enjoying each others company fully. KJ doesn't take his eyes off you the whole time and just completely admires your beauty. You notice him staring

"Why are you looking at me like that?" you ask, laughing slightly and softly

"You're so beautiful Y/N and I mean it", he doesn't break the eye contact, you blush a lot and he notices, laughing quietly while grabbing your hand.

"You're too sweet, thankyou KJ", you regain confidence and smile while looking directly into his eyes, you hold his other hand and rub your thumb against his skin, you both stay like this for a while.

"Come on, lets get back, everyone will be wondering where we are", he says quietly, you nod and get up. He pulls you into his side as you walk out. The car ride consists of silence and him just holding on to your hand, not wanting to let go. It's not an awkward silence but a comforting one. You arrive back at set and everyone is waiting for you. It's now around 7pm.

"There's the lovebirds" Lili calls out as you both walk back over. You smirk at KJ and walk over to the girls. They pull you away from the boys and start questioning you.

"What did you do?" Camila asks

"Did you kiss?" Lili asks

"Did he finally tell you he loves you?" Madelaine asks

"Did you tell him you love him?" Summer asks

"GIRLS! nothing happened, he took me too a little cafe about 15 minutes away, we just talked and had a good time..." you tell them but stopping the details from spilling out.

"...and ??? you were about to say something else, come on Y/N!!" Summer orders

"He told me I was beautiful, that's all" you almost whisper.

"AWWWW" they all say together

"How cute, I ship you two so hard", Camila says, you all laugh but you quickly change the topic as you look over your shoulder smiling at KJ

"So dude, how did it go?" Cole hits KJ's chest, getting his attention off you

"It went good, I took her to the cafe 15 minutes away, we just talked and enjoyed each others company and I told he she was beautiful.." KJ replies, speaking quietly as he was embarrassed that one girl could make him so emotionally weak.

"That's my man, take your time, but don't take too long she might loose interest" Cole laughs and walks back to the girls while KJ follows behind.

"Hey guys, seen as we've got the day off tomorrow, who fancies a pool day?!", Madelaine asks excitedly, everyone is quick to reply with a "YES!!" but you are too distracted from watching KJ, admiring his smile. He noticed you watching him and playfully winks at you, making you giggle and wink back.

You all make your way back to trailers and hotels, excited for tomorrow.
