Weeks pass, turning into months and everyone was beginning to heal. Dylan became stronger and with physical therapy, he was skateboarding again, much to Stevie's horror. Stevie and Lindsey's relationship was becoming stronger as well. They were reconnecting, dating and becoming who they were as a couple many years ago. Callie and Dylan loved to watch the reuniting of their parents. There were very few arguments, they were constantly together and so lovey. They held hands constantly, needing the physical contact. Brock was now permanently out of the picture, as Stevie had refused to see him ever again, blocked his number and cut all possible ties in order to secure her relationship with her one true love.

One evening, Lindsey, Stevie and the twins were watching one of the Twilight Saga movies in the living room. The lights were out, popcorn filled two large bowls, there were mixed mocktails for the kids and Stevie, and Lindsey drank a beer. Iris was sleeping peacefully in Stevie's arms. Stevie kissed her daughter's blonde curls, twisting a ringlet around her finger. Lindsey gave her a loving glance, stroking the back of his lover's hand. She sighed contentedly in response, marveling at how beautiful life had become recently. It was getting late and the older kids were winding down as well. As soon as Bella came back on the screen in her wedding dress, Callie sat up a little straighter. She was falling asleep but she always loved this scene so much. There were practically hearts in her eyes and Stevie smiled as she split her attention between the tv and her eldest daughter.

Lindsey leaned over and kissed Stevie's temple, whispering in her ear. "You'd look beautiful in a dress like that"

"Thank you" she whispered back. "I think I'll take the baby upstairs. I will be right back"

"I can go"

"No, no stay. I won't be long." She carefully gets up with Iris and began to ascend the stairs. The music was so beautiful and she began to hum as she walked down the hallway to the nursery.

I've waited a hundred years
But I'd wait a million more for you
Nothing prepared me for
What the privilege of being yours would do
If I had only felt the warmth within your touch
If I had only seen how you smile when you blush
Or how you curl your lip when you concentrate enough

She lay her daughter down in the crib she was quickly outgrowing. "Good night, precious angel"  she said softly, staring down at her youngest.

Well I would have known
What I was living for all along
What I've been living for
Your love is my turning page
Where only the sweetest words remain
Every kiss is a cursive line
Every touch is a redefining phrase
I surrender who I've been for who you are
For nothing makes me stronger than your fragile heart
If I had only felt how it feels to be yours

She tiptoes out of the room and makes her way back down to the rest of her family. Dylan looked unimpressed, to say the least and Callie was still watching intently. This was her favorite part.

Well I would have known
What I've been living for all along
What I've been living for
Though we're tethered to the story we must tell
When I saw you, well I knew we'd tell it well
With a whisper we will tame the vicious seas
Like a feather bringing kingdoms to their knees

Lindsey was watching almost as intently as Callie, the scene unfolding before him brought back memories of their own wedding years ago. Their wedding wasn't fancy. It was simple and wasn't as beautiful as he had hoped. With the mending of their relationship, he hoped they would be married again. He wanted to make it up to her, he wanted to give her everything she desired.

The serenity of the moment was broken up by Dylan, groaning that it was lame. "This is a girl movie! Next time me and dad get to pick"

"I like this movie" Lindsey says and Dylan quickly deflates.

"Not cool, dad. What about solidarity?"

"I'm standing with the ladies" Lindsey says, wrapping his arm around Stevie. She puts her head on his shoulder, no longer paying attention to the movie. Her mind began to wander back to their wedding day as well.

"Are you ready?" Lindsey asked, holding Stevie's hands in his.

"As ready as I'll ever be" she says, taking a deep breath.

"I know you're nervous but I love you and you love me right?"

"Yes, I love you so much"

"Everything is going to be alright. Just think of our little babies. A mom, a dad. We'll be a family"

She nods, feeling terrible about this decision. She wanted to be with him, she loved him, but she felt like this was wrong. She had a panic attack the night before, knowing he was only doing all of this because of the babies. If she hadn't gotten pregnant, would he have wanted to marry her at all? Would he have proposed?

The longer she stood waiting in the courthouse, the more she had to fight the urge to run. Right when she was about to make her move to leave, they were ushered into the room. Few vows were said, papers were signed and their marriage was sealed with a soft kiss. Stevie began to cry and Lindsey smiled.

Only she knew why the tears came so easily.

Stevie came back to reality, her frown curling into a smile as Lindsey's arm tightened around her. Callie and Dylan decided to head to bed after the movie had finished and Stevie got up to clean up the mess the kids had made with popcorn and their drink cups.

"Hey" Lindsey said, touching her shoulder to get her attention.

"Hm?" she asked, still bending down to clean. He could tell immediately that she was tired.

"Leave it"

"I can't"

"Steph, I don't care what I have to do to make you stop"

"Will you clean it up for me then?" She asks, straightening back up, hand on her hip. Her eyebrow arched ever so slightly and he gave her a mischievous smile.

"Mmm...I think I have a better idea" He sits back down, pulling her down with him and onto his lap. Her arms fall casually around his neck, giving him a feather light kiss on his lips. Their kisses become more intense by the second and soon enough, he is scooping her up in his arms, carrying her upstairs to their bedroom. She giggles a little at the suddenness of this action and he captures her lips again.

"I love you" she says as he lays her gently on their plush bed.

"I love you too. Let me show you" he says. He smiles down at her, pulling her panties down her legs. He kissed from her toes, up to her knees and thighs. Her skin was warm and responsive to his touch. He could feel her muscles tense slightly in anticipation of his lips pressed to her skin. "You are so beautiful."

"So are you, Linds. Make love to me."

He didn't need to be told twice, dying to feel her as much as she longed to feel him.
