And your argument is invalid. Percy Jackson has love (Perchabeth, Frazel, Caleo, Solangelo, Jasiper, Solangelo). And not just romantic love, but also love for friends and family, while Bella abandoned her friends and family for some random vampire stalker.
Also swords, because there is war going on. War that ends with handshake and no deaths isn't realistic.
