You can imagine the twilight characters but riordan sucks at describing characters so noone can visualize what those characters look like. Ha couldn't even decide on an eye color for piper so he made them multicoloured.
Names and titles are written with capital letters. And its weird how you didn't write U in color, but later you did in multicolored.
Multicolored eyes are trait of children of Aphrodite, because Aphrodite is goddess of beauty and beauty is different for everyone.
Also reading PJO/HOO I could imagine characters with no problems. And we have really good fan art. You can't draw fan art without visualizing characters.
Reading Twilight I really couldn't fully picture characters. Only thing I could picture about most characters were eyes, and the only reason to that was that most of them were vampires and had yellow or red eyes.
