There is no gay couples in Percy Jackson which shows lack of respect for those people.
I reread Twilight (my poor eyes and brain, what a waist of time) so I can judge your book more fairly now, and I can almost surely tell you that there is no gays at all in Twilight. Name me one I dare you. I bet you cant name a one.
Percy Jackson has a gay couple, Solangelo, which contains Will and Nico.
Rick Riordan has written many great queer characters, and not only gay but other LGBTQ+ too.
Nico di Angelo - gay
Will Solace - bi probably
Apollo aka. Lester Papadopoulos - pansexual
And in Magnus Chase series
Alex Fierro - trans/genderfluid
Magnus Chase - isn't confirmed, but probably queer.
