The covers are better.
Have you ever heard saying "Never judge a book by its cover."
And covers looking better is opinion not fact. I find PJO covers better because they have connection to the story. And more effort was put in Percy Jackson covers, artist draw them. Twilight covers are photographies (not that photagraphy isn't great talent) that had no connection to story (okay, maybe they had, but it was so small that it wasn't important).
