Is obsessed with random psycho boy who stalks her? Almost kills herself when her boyfriend leaves her? Becomes a teen mother? Marries before turning eighteen? Abandoned her friends and family for a random dude? Yes, every girl should be like her (sarcasm)! Also popularity doesn't matter after school, intelligence does, and I didn't notice a much of that in Twilight.
Percy Jackson has good role models. Many of PJO characters do, what's right, even if it's not easy. They are loyal to their friends.
