Accidental Love//Phan

Chapter 7

Dan's POV
"Hey hunny how was school" I hear mum call from the kitchen

She is actually home for once in her life must have taken time off work, it sounded like she was in the kitchen so maybe she was making dinner for us? I walk into the kitchen to see my mother and Ryan making biscuits... this was a rare sight

"What's the occasion?" I ask

"Nothing hun, just thought I might come home and spend some quality time with my boys" she smiles and embraces us both in a hug

I just agree and go along with it; we are making chocolate chip cookies as they are both mine and Ryan's favourite type. We all laugh and start throwing flour at each other making a huge mess. Dad walks in not too much later and scares us all by grabbing us from behind and picking us up. We laugh and squeal to get him to put us down. He put us down and both Ryan and I grab a handful of flour to throw at dad, he soon chases us around the house trying to get us back. We run up the stairs and look down to see he has stopped and to be kissing mum.

Ryan and I shout from the top "GET A ROOM!"

Mum and dad just laugh and walk back into the kitchen. I look down at Ryan who is smiling, the brightest smile I have seen on him for a while now.

"What are you smiling at?" Ryan pokes me

"Well I haven't seen you smile like in a long time" I reply hanging over the railing in exhaustion from the running we just did.

"That was a big surprise for me though mum picking me up from school and to be bring home to make cookies" he smiles "I enjoyed that and wish we could do it more" He sighs and walks off into his room

I hear my phone ding from down stairs in the kitchen, who is texting me, my family are all in the same place. Oh wait I forgot Phil and I exchanged numbers. I run down stairs into the kitchen to see my parents making out on the bench. I slip in and out as fast as I can to avoid seeing TOO much.

'Hello is this Dan'
'Yeah this is Dan. Hello Phil'
'Have you made your decision for this weekend, Louise is bugging me'
'Ahh no not yet sorry, my family and I just made cookies and got a bit carried away'
'Don't worry about it no need to say sorry just text me your answer
Oh and we will also pick you up and take you there :)'
'Oh thanks'

I went up to Ryan's room to see how he was doing with his homework and to see that he was working hard for once. I walk into my room to look at the ceiling to think.

I guess it couldn't hurt to go hang out with Phil after all he does seem like a quirky guy that can make me laugh when I don't want to so text Phil that I will go and he seemed very excited.

**Day out**
Phil picks me up around 11 to go to Starbucks where everyone will meet up to walk to the movies. We get to Starbucks and Louise and Pj are there, only Chris is missing.

"What do you want to drink?" Phil asks me

"Ah I only brought money for the movies so I'm right" I say politely

"Hot chocolate it is then" he smiles, I try to protest but he walks away to stand in line to order

I sit down in the seat across from Pj and Louise and sigh in defeat. I hate people buying me stuff as I feel like I need to repay them even if they say I don't have to.

"Don't worry about it hun, he does it all the time. He really is to polite for his well-being" I hear Louise say to me

I just do a small smile and sink down into my chair to avoid all contact. Why did I ever think this could be a good idea? I sit here buried in my thoughts to be interrupted by a loud voice coming my way.

"LOUISE, PJ AND Phil's Friend" He said but my name was said in a mono-tone voice... great I have already made another enemy.

Phil soon comes back over with all of our drinks and hands them out "Chris considering you weren't here when I took everyone orders, I got you a Caramel Latte" Phil says taking a seat next to me

"Phil, you know me so well it is my favourite thank you how can I repay you" Chris says in a really weird cringey voice

Phil just laughs at his weird voice "I think you have had just one to many Drama lessons and you don't have to repay me, it's my treat" he smiles "And that also goes for you Dan, don't feel guilty"

I return to my previous position in my chair hopefully avoiding all human contact whilst sipping on my hot chocolate but nope people decide to ask me questions.

"How old are you"
"What's your family like"
"Favourite hobbies, colours and songs"
etc. etc.

I guess Phil could see that I didn't like the questions and was getting a little stressed so he decided it was time to walk to the movies.

Phil's POV
Dan seems a little uneasy in most of these situations with my friends, I hope none of them was rude to him or made him feel unimportant while I was getting the drinks. I know Louise or Pj wouldn't but Chris can sometimes be the jealous type and not think before he says stuff.

We finally get to the movies and to be faced with the problem of the movie choice

Louise said Smurfs
Chris said Power Rangers
Pj said Lego batman as he is a child in a teen body.
And as for myself I didn't care what we watched.

"Dan I know you don't like making choices but you're the new one here so you choose" Pj suggests

I see Dan tense up at that idea so whisper to him "You don't have to if you don't want to you know" he just shakes his head and walks up to the movie posters to see what's showing at the moment and he chooses 'Logan' and we all agree.

I'm so tired right now ugh. Dan and Phil are two hours away from me RIGHT NOW! And Dan's selfie today OMG he has never looked that good (creepy and weird I know) but help me I'm dying, I didn't get to meet them they are so close but so far away.
