Chapter 16

TRIGGER WARNING- SUICIDE

**Peformance Day 3 days later**
This is the big day for the boys as today is when they will perform their act that they have been working on, but things get awkward as Dan and Phil have not talked since Phil yelled at Dan so their plan was to just get up there and get it over and done with. Chris on the other hand had a different plan, he had thought this through many times in his head. Chris liked Phil but never knew how to tell him but this act was perfect. Chris's plan is when his character is supposed to confess his love to Phil's character, Chris won't say Phil's characters name he will say Phil, hopefully Phil won't notice and Chris can point it out when they are finished.

"Here goes nothing" Chris whispers to himself "Phil... I lo-love you" Chris says

Phil looks down at Chris in confusion, before backing away from the light haired boy.

"Wh-what did you sa-say" Phil says afriad of the anwser Chris will give him.

"Umm... I love you?" Chris says standing up going to take a step towards Phil.

Dan stands in the corner watching everything, wondering what is going on that wasn't in the script, than it finally clicks this isn't part of the act Chris actually likes Phil as Phil starts shaking then slowly his legs give out on him.

"I KNEW IT" Dan says in his head not noticing Phil but then his thoughts were interupted by the noise of sobs

Dan pulls himself out of his thoughts and see Phil in the corner crying and the teacher making her way over to Phil realising this isnt part of the act. Dan runs over making sure Phil is okay

"Phil? What happened, why are you crying?" Dan asked going to bring Phil into a hug

"GO AWAY, ALL YOU DO IS MAKE EVERYTHING WORSE" Phil screams at Dan pushing him away

Dan backs away slowly with tears now filling his eyes, legs slowly giving out on him. Dan runs out of the classroom with what Phil just said running through his head over and over again, never stopping. Dan runs straight for the bathrooms and locks himself in a cubicle again and starts crying uncontrollably.

Back at the classroom Phil is still not going well with everything pilling on top of everything he just snapped and broke. Mrs Brown is trying to calm Phil down. She rubs his back in soothing patterns. Phil calms down shortly after breathes slowly calming down

"Phil? Honey what's wrong?" Mrs Brown asks when Phil lifts his from his knees

Phil looks around the classroom realising Dan isnt there " I'm fine miss but thank you"

"There is something wrong as you just yelled at Mr Howell telling him to go away" she says helping Phil up off the ground

"WAIT! I said that to Dan?! Oh no, miss where did he go?" Phil panics

Um he ran out in tears" she said

Not wanting to hear anything else, Phil runs out of the classroom and runs as fast as he can to the only two places Dan goes to when he is upset. Phil ran to the library first but he wasn't there, the only place left was the bathroom.

Phil walked into the bathroom as quietly as possible without making to much noise. He hears crying coming from the last cubicle where Dan was situated

Dan sat on the toilet crying looking down at his already cut wrists that he had done on the day Phil yelled at him. Dan played the words that Phil said back in class in his head again reminding him that all he does and brings in this world is bring pain, stress and burden to everyone's lives. Andrews voice starts playing in his head

"Dan just listen to me already nobody wants you here, KILL YOURSELF"

Dan examines his wrists again before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small pouch which held a blade in case he ever needed it. He pulls out the blade and examines that as well before breaking down again. He doesn't want to do this and he knows its wrong but nobody wants him here. He glides the sliver metal across his skinny pale arm until beads of red can be seen, he sighs and brings the blade to his wrist again he pulls it across his wrist again but going a deeper this time before whispering

"Goodbye Phil, I'm sorry"

Phil heard that and started banging on the door and kicked it down but he was too late. He looked down on the bathroom floor to see Dan bleeding out. Phil rushes over to Dan and picks him up and puts Dan's head on his lap. Phil rips his own shirt to create a bandage to stop the bleeding.

"Come on Dan stay with me, you can leave me I already lost dad I can't loose you" Phil cries while wrapping his shirt around Dan's wrist as tightly as possible. "Open your eyes please"

Dan wanted to hurry up and die but for some reason there was something in him that was holding him back, something in him didn't want him to leave this world. Dan heard the sound of Phil's voice telling him not to leave, Dan opens his eyes and looks into the pools of blue that were looking down at him, he smiles at the sight of them not wanting to close his eyes again afraid he might not see those hypnotising eyes again. Dan looks up at Phil's face which is red and stained with tears then falls unconscious not knowing if he is dead or not but there was one word, one person that wouldn't leave his head "Phil" Dan didn't want to leave this world because of that person

Dan loved Phil
