Chapter 20

FLUFF CHAPTER YAY!

Phil's POV
Dan has been moved to the mental health ward for counseling and supervision. He has been in there for about a week, seeing a counseller everyday at 2pm before art classes. I visited him on his first day in there and he didn't look happy to be there, he told me he felt isolated with everything being taken off him. I simply just said you will make friends here and if you listen to the conceller you will be out of here in no time. I guess I will find out today when I visit him. I have seen Dan's parents many times leading up to today and they were the ones who convinced me to visit again, its not like I dont care it's just thay hospital bring back bad memories and I hated it there but I would do anything for Dan even if that meant I had to go to the most dreaded place ever.

I walk into the doors of the ward to be greeted with Emily with her hair tied up in a low pony tail as normal with her clipboard with Dan's records. She smiles when she sees me, I'm surprised she recognised me with all the patients she looks after everyday.

"PHIL!" Emily yells dropping her clipboard onto the chair nearby before running over to me and hugging me.

"Emily... hi, isn't this just a bit unprofessional?" I ask her letting go of her

"Yeah it is but Dan has told me all about you and you seem so cute and caring, but I won't get in trouble if no one sees me" she giggles looking around the empty room an through the doors going into the proper ward "and guess what no one saw, not one set of eyes"

"I guess your right but anyway would I be able to visit Dan?" I ask Emily as she goes to fetch her clipboard to see Dan's plan for today

She flips through his records "Yes he has just got out of counselling, we had to make it earlier."

"That's great, when do visiting hours end?" I ask making sure I don't stay to long and get Dan into trouble

"Well it's normally that visitors have to leave during lunch which is soon but Phil you're special I'll bend the rules a bit you can leave at anytime before 4" Emily snickers cheekily "Dan will be in tears of joy seeing you"

Emily opens the ward doors to reveal a colourful ward, filled with so many things to do but so little people which is a very good thing I suppose. When I visited Dan I had to talk to him outside of the ward as they were still fixing things up so this is a new experience for me. I continue walking around looking at all the decor, paintings that the paitents have done but one catches my eye in particular. It was a boy with black hair like mine and blue and green eyes like mine as well. I look at it a bit more until I hear a familiar voice coming from behind me

"PHIL?! Oh my god Phil you came to visit me" Dan says running up to me hugging me so tight I couldn't breathe

"Yes Dan of course I did, afterall I wanted to see how you were doing" I laugh hugging the boy back

"Do you like my painting? It's you, I missed your eyes" Dan says pulling it off the wall and handing it to me "See? It even has the small yellow specks in your eyes that reminds me of the stars" Dan smiles at his work

"I love it Dan, its very beautiful" I smile pinning the work of art back on the wall

"Dan, you're out of counselling already?" I see a girl with short dark hair come towards us.

"Yeah, he said I was doing great and I only had a couple things to talk to him about" Dan smiles to the girl "Oh Phil how rude of me, this is Ebony she was here before I came in"

"Hi Phil, I have heard so much about you maybe a little to much" Ebony jokes whilst we shake hands

"Ebony showed me around and was my first friend here" Dan smiles at me
