At Riverdale High it is the 13th of February; the day before Valentine's day and every was buzzing full of excitement for the upcoming day, couples being extra clingy to their significant other and a little bit more romantic and the singles were all depressing but also happy as they don't have to worry about the stupid holiday. The school council is selling heart lollipops to give to your valentine but Andrew has a different idea planned... there is a boy name Daniel Howell he was the one who everyone looked down on upon, everyone saw Dan as being homosexual so that being a rumor going around Andrew is thinking of making a little Valentine's day prank towards Dan.
Andrew believes that Dan has a little crush on one of the boys in his year, Phil Lester. Phil was quiet and was accepted in the school unlike Dan, Phil has many friends including Pj, Chris and Louise they were the typical friends people would have, Louise being the gossip girl always telling and listening out for gossip, Pj the one who gave out all the relationship advice he was like another cupid and Chris is the funny one always making everyone laugh. Phil has come out saying he is homosexual and he is proud of it. What Dan finds interesting is Phil is accepted even though he has come out but Dan he gets picked on because everyone assumes Dan is also homosexual. Even though Dan has no problem with homosexuals but he does not like being called and identified as someone or something he isn't. Phil has never been in a relationship but he still has taken interest in some people and those people always being boys never girls, Phil understands that he might not be completely homosexual but he likes to identify as that until he finds out more.
Andrews little prank letter for Dan reads;
Dear Dan
Meet me at the park that is in the middle of town tomorrow after school for a little Valentine's day surprise :D

Andrew placed the note inside Dan's locker before going to class but also places one in Phil's locker saying the same thing but addressed from Dan. Andrew isn't trying to set them up he is only doing this to muck Dan up hoping that Phil will reject him, laugh at him or even hurt Dan for thinking that someone like Phil would ever like someone like Dan and reject him. But what Andrew doesn't know is that his whole prank will not go to plan in fact this won't make Dan get weaker in fact Dan will grow stronger much stronger than Andrew ever can as Andrew is strong physically not mentally
