**One month later**
Phil's POV
I now go over to Dan's every weekend to help Dan out with Ryan's tutoring and a little bit of Pokemon tips to beat Dan in a battle. Ryan is a really adorable kid and smart even if he isn't at a good school, he still tries his hardest to make his family proud and Dan has told me many times that he is very proud of Ryan at how hard he tries to succeed even if he doesn't. Ryan doesn't get upset he takes it as an opportunity to improve. I have brung over Lydia today so she can teach him a thing or two so Dan and I can play a couple of games today as the school term is coming to an end.

Dan and I are fixing up some snacks for them both so we don't have them at Dan's bedroom door every 5 minutes. We sit them down with our 3Ds' so Ryan can show Lydia pokemon and Lydia has brought over some dolls even though Ryan is male but Dan said that Ryan will play with any toy. I look over at them playing Pokemon, Ryan explaining the concept of the game to Lydia and Lydia paying close attention to Ryan. I look back over at Dan who is also looking at Ryan smiling

"You really care about Ryan don't you?" I say giving Dan a little smile

Dan smiles back "Yeah I really do. Always have, well our parents are busy with jobs so we only had each other " he then turns back to cutting up carrot sticks

"At least Ryan knows that he has someone to go for help." I say smiling at Lydia who is looking at me smiling "Dan you really are a great brother" I say placing my hand on his back

Dan turns so he is facing me "really? I always thought I was a shit brother because of... you know" Dan shrugs going back to chopping

"Dan no, as I said with Andrew you are strong in so many ways and I'm sure Ryan is proud to be called you his brother even if you were very suicidal" I say grabbing onto Dan's arm trying to get him to listen to me, emphasising the 'were'

Dan just sighs and looks back over at Ryan who is smiling and getting along with Lydia well "but Ryan can get along with someone who he literally just met I can't..." he sighs again

I shake my head not believing Dan was being so negative about himself. How can someone so wonderful and supportive say these kinds of things about himself. Even with his flaws of being anti-social and the pain of being bullied his whole life he has the kindest and most gentle heart I have ever seen.

"Please stop saying all that stuff now... you may have plenty of flaws but your heart..." I say placing my hand on his warm chest "it's kind and gentle, you can accept anyone without hesitation and even forgive someone who made you feel useless" I say looking into Dan's eyes who is examining mine

"I guess you can be right..." Dan places his hand over mine "I suppose I am strong in one way, afterall I did scare off andrew" I laugh at his remark turning red faced

Dan places his hands on his hips to look all heroic but he really is a hero and he really did scare off Andrew. That day scared me to death almost, I was so scared Dan was going to get seriously hurt and actually cause more damage then before... I couldn't handle almost loosing Dan again but Dan fought him off.

"Anyway we should put these things on a plate for them" Dan says quickly removing his hand from mine to grab the plate

"Dan I'm pretty sure they won't starve" I laugh putting out some sandwiches

"Yeah I know but I can't wait to beat the hell outta you at Mario Kart" Dan laughs

I walk over to Ryan and Lydia to give them their snacks and to explain that Dan and I will be upstairs if they need us, they both give us a warm smile to say thanks. Dan then starts to chase me up the stairs saying he is the king of Mario Kart.
