A week after Phil's father died was his funeral. Phil's mother went through a lot of planning to make it what Phil's dad would have wanted it to be. Lydia took that whole week off school and so did Phil but Lydia helped his mum around the house, as for Phil he trapped himself in his room away from the reality where he has no father. Phil's mother tried to get him out and about, she even called Pj and Louise to come hang out with Phil and to get him out of his room but Phil even though they were there he didn't come out. The only time he actually came out was for the bathroom, food and of course the funeral. Overall Phil wasn't taking it very well.
Dan tried many times to text Phil to ask why he wasn't as school but Phil did not answer. Dan started to get a big worried as Phil hasn't talked to Dan since the fight between Chris and Phil and Dan being insecure he believed Phil didn't want anything to do with Dan anymore, that whole week was just a big week of pain for both of them.
After the week of Phil's father's funeral he would have to return to school and phil knew there would be questions being asked of why there was no contact and he wasn't at school but Phil didn't want to tell anyone, he didn't want to put his problems on top of anyone and make them have to deal with them so he kept quiet, well mostly.
Phil got to school on the Monday and Louise and Pj tackled Phil to the ground with a hug. They both missed him, he made their breaks more happy and class less boring. Phil just laughed and pushed them off with a fake smile on his face.
"Oh Phil we have missed you so much, glad you back" Louise said clapping her hands with glee
"Speaking of back where were you this whole week" Pj asked
Phil just ignored the question and continued to walk into school trying to seem as happy as he could without making any suspicions but the two friends were already suspicious of the mystery week off school. Phil asked them about what he has missed and they told him everything that he had missed. The only thing that they didn't tell him about was Dan...
Phil not being at school for a whole week left Dan alone and vulnerable to Andrew. Andrew saw that Dan was sitting back in his normal spot with no one there to protect him or stand up for him. Through that whole week every day, every break, Andrew and his friends abused Dan both physically and mentally. Dan got bashed more than usual, enough to make him not able to move anything but of course Dan did nothing about it. Being kicked in the same place multiple times in a row over a whole week can cause serious damage but Dan didn't care anymore. Andrews insults got worse to the point of telling Dan to go kill himself and after the times of Phil ignoring his texts and the fights Dan actually considered it many times. He even started to look at ways to actually killed himself from quick and easy to slow and painful, this scared Dan a lot he had no one to go to for help and he has never thought these things before.
Phil not seeing Dan in a whole week he was unable to see what Dan was going through and help him, he was also unable to see that one small thing could set Dan off and ruin everything...
When Dan saw Phil for the first time in a week Dan had a lot of questions for Phil. He ran up to Phil and hugged him, Phil laughed and pulled the tall boy off him realising Dan is more skinnier and pale, Phil just thought it was normal so he pushed it aside.
"Hey Dan" Phil smiled at Dan looking into the only eyes he missed
"I have a lot of questions for you" Dan cried
Phil looked down at the ground asking himself whether to tell Dan or not but he had already told one person and didn't want another person knowing his problems
"Dan I'm not in the mood for questions please" Phil simply said with no emotion
"You weren't here for a whole week with no explination why?" Dan asked
"Dan I said no questions" Phil raised his voice just a little
"Why weren't you anwsering my texts?" Dan asked
Phil stayed quiet not wanting to say anything
"Why no questions, what is so bad that you can't tell me after all you have done for me and what we have been through and you can't anwser me a simple question" Dan pleads almost in tears
Phil stays quiet again, afraid of what he will say while in this emotional state, he didn't want to tell Dan by he was also afriad of hurting him
"Did I do something to hurt you? Have I hurt you Phil please just answer me" Dan cries
"DAN JUST SHUT UP, STOP THINKING YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING WRONG, YES YOU HAVE PROBLEMS BUT I DO TOO!" Phil screams at Dan tears filling his eyes before running away leaving Dan in shook
Dan stands there staring at the spot where Phil was standing there just a few seconds ago. Tears start generating in Dan's eyes as he goes over the events that just occured
"You have done it now Dan, Phil actually hates you" Dan says to himself before hitting himself in the head "Why do you have to be such a failure, all you do is make things worse" Dan says quietly to himself walking off to his usual lonely spot.

And I am following Phil's addiction I have started to watch buffy and AHHHHH its sooo good. I have watched it before but now I'm just... idek. I can understand why Phil likes it so much
