The first rays of sunrise peeked through the hillside, and the morning breeze rolled down - ever so lightly nipping at her skin. Sending goosebumps throughout her body.

Lin Na could feel herself shudder as she furiously panted, and she continued to push herself forwards despite of how tired she was.

Once she saw Hank standing only a few meters infront of her, she heaved out one last sigh before sprinting towards him. Once she crossed him, she slowed down, huffing puffs of air as she knelt on the ground.

" 20 minutes for 40 laps, not bad !" He waved the stopper in the air, after scribbling a few notes on his notebook.

" That was too slow," the voice beside him interrupted," If someone was really chasing her, they would've caught her in no time."

Lin Na turned to see Erik with his arms crossed, walking towards her. He held out his hand," Is this your first time to run 40 laps ?"

" I barely got time to exercise back wen I work in the cafe, the I only exercise I received was from scribbling bills and rushing orders. Besides I'm not used to running, I'm always hiding. It's much easier."

She rubbed the sides of her neck," Not to mention that it's still difficult to breathe. But you're right, I should go faster next time. No excuses."

" Then you should work on your stealth, every time you turn invisible I'll always spot you, because of how loud you breathe. "

She stepped back, embarrassment coating her cheeks.

" You might be small, but your footsteps are detectable."

He gave her a wink, and for a second Lin Na thought that he had caught something in his eye , because for what she knows - Erik Lehnsherr doesn't wink.

Yet he paired it with a smirk.

With that he turned to leave, jogging towards Charles and Hank.

Leaving Lin Na at a loss for words, and she could do nothing but watch him disappear in the distance.

A serene and sonorous melody stirred, and the room was silent except for the sound of her music. Her fingers danced gracefully, making its way across the black and white keys of the sleek black grand piano.

She was thrilled to discover a piano inside one of the rooms, and she didn't hesitate to approach it. She knew that Charles played he piano when he was younger, but she never knew that he would still keep the old thing.
