╔═════ ∘◦ ☆ ◦∘ ══════╗ when a good man goes to war ╚═════ ∘◦ ❉ ◦∘ ══════╝
Lin Na looked at him through glossy eyes, fear making her heart race against her chest in fear and horror as she failed to recognize the man infront of her
She yanked her hand once more, but his vice grip encircled itself around her wrist, pinning her down. He turned to her, eyes cold and stern.
" How could you," she whispered hoarsely, trying to steady her breathing.
" He turned me into a weapon, and that's what I'm going to become. That's what I have always and forever will be. A weapon."
The submarine rumbled and shook, slowly collapsing under them. The ground they stand on creaked and groaned.
" I'm so sorry," she exhaled shakily, before vanishing. Erik, who could no longer see her loosen his grip at the unexpected change, and this allowed Lin Na to swipe her legs under him - causing him to fall flat on his back.
Once his fingers loosen from around her wrist, she made a run for it, sprinting towards the exit.

" Charles !" Lin Na yelled once she made it out to the beach, and the aftermath of war littered across the ground - piles of bodies and shards of weapons were seen across the sandy surface.
Alex,Carter and Sean were standing outside, squinting warily at the fleet of ships facing them. They had their weapons pointed at them, raised high and aimed at Island.
" What are they doing ?" She whispered disbelievingly, " Are they going to - oh my god."
" We're screwed," Carter gulped.
She ghosted her hand across her lips, covering the gasp that escaped them when she saw the oncoming herd of missiles heading towards them. One by one they aligned together, heading straight for them.
Moria immediately rushed towards the wreckage of their jet, and she frantically grabbed one of the radios to signal for help - yet none of them responded. Li Na could feel panic sinking its way against her stomach, and she turned to Raven and Charles for answers, yet all they could do was look at her solemnly. Once the missiles were only meters away from them, Lin Na raised her hands above herself defensively. She shut her eyes, waiting for the impact.
Yet it never came.
Instead she was stunned to open her eyes to only find them hovering mid air, scattered together as they levitate above the ground, waiting to be detonated. A few feet in front of her stood Erik, hands outstretched before him. His body was rigid, as it requires all of the strength within him to keep them at bay.
