Lin Na stopped in her tracks, and turned to face him. He had his hands behind his back, standing rigidly. Worry was etched across his face, and perhaps even a hint of fear - yet Lin Na cannot be sure because any trace of it disappeared just as quick as she had found it.
Replaced by his usual cold demeanor.
" Anything."
" Whatever happens," he paused.
" Do not interfere with whatever I do to Schmidt."
The cold remark had taken her off guard, yet she took it as no less than a warning, and gave him a nod. She has no rights to get in his way, this was something he has been waiting to do for all his life. It was his purpose, it'll be selfish of her to take this opportunity away from him.
Yet why does she feel that something bad is going to come out of it?
She took one last glance at him, and their eyes connected briefly, before breaking apart once more.
She knows that his distant behavior was probably no more than pre-battle anxiety.The tension was undeniable between the team - everyone was still unsure about the fact that they'll be facing an army of fully armed soldiers.
Yet why does she feel as if at this very moment, the small and wary smile he gave her was going to be the last smile she was ever going to share with him ?

For a fleeting moment Lin Na's heart stopped at the sight of the naval fleet, at least a dozen ships were aligned with one another, all of them were loaded with missiles that could easily destroy the small island below them.
The jet cautiously hovered around it, and Lin Na gripped her seatbelt tighter when the jet shook and shivered.
" Here's the plan," Charles got up from his seat, holding onto one of the railings," Whatever it takes, do not let them launch those missiles. As for Shaw -"
The jet jerked forward, causing Lin Na to slam against her seat. An alarm blared around the metal walls, and Hank exclaimed," I found Schmidt ! He's in his submarine, he might be right below us."
Hank and Charles told Banshee to help them locate his exact location. Once he returned, Charles walked over to Erik,"This is your chance, we need to get you close enough. It's right below us, do you think you can do it?"
