Chapter 3

     I had a good little dream about Talen in the car. Hopefully I didn't call his name out while I was sleep. Now that'll be a fucked up way for Chance to find out about us. Somebody had a good nap, Chance said. Yeah, I needed that. You must was dreaming about something good? Why you say that? You kept moaning and smiling. I dreamt you were making love to me on top of a boat while everybody on shore watched. Sounds interesting, Chance said. It had to be something good, you dripping wet. I looked down and my juices were running down my legs. Damn, I didn't even feel it. I had to be putting it on you good, Chance said. You do that every night. Where are we anyway? We almost there, just a few more miles. I need to check on my car. I'm sure your car fine. I don't trust Honest with my car. Why not? Didn't she just wreck her car a few weeks ago? Yeah, check on your car. I have to stop and get some gas, Chance said. You want me to go pay while you pump? I got it, check on your car.

   What you doing? Nothing, sitting on the couch. How's my car? That's why you called? I just wanted to make sure you taking care of my baby. Girl that car fine, I haven't touched it since y'all left. Did Chance tell you where we going? Naw, all he told me was you going to love it. Guess ill just have to wait until we get there. I'll call to check on my baby later. Bye girl, Honest said. While Chance was in the store, I texted Talen before he got back in the car. What you doing, Chance asked? Just got off the phone with Kaydence. What happened with y'all earlier? You know she said she wanted to talk right? Yeah, about what? She didn't want to talk, she just wanted to fuck. So y'all fucked in my room? She kind of took it, which was weird. Why? The fact she had just left her mom's house then she felt the need to fuck me right then and there. That don't sound too weird to me, Honest said. Honest, she was already wet when she pulled her dress up. Sometimes women hormones are like that. You don't understand; Kaydence only gets that way when she really turned on or after she just finished fucking. It ain't no reason why she got that wet from leaving her mom's house. Now that you put it that way, it is kind of weird. She took a nap while I was driving. The whole nap, she was moaning and smiling. I rubbed her leg to try to wake her up, juices was just rolling down her legs. You think she cheating? Naw, I can't see her cheating. Maybe you just overthinking it all. That's why I called you, hoping you could make some sense of all of this. Well, you know her better than me. If it sounds weird to you, guess you should look more into it. I'm about to get back in the car, ill call you when we make it.

    What took you so long? I was talking to Honest, Chance said. I just got off the phone with her. What she talking about? Just talking about her and her little crush. Who she crushing on? Talen, that ain't no secret. I didn't know that, I said. Yeah, she think he messing with somebody. Why she think that? She said he haven't been his normal self for a while now. I guess they normally flirt or whatever. I didn't think she liked him, I said. At her party, she was all distant. I didn't pay attention to them, Chance said. I wonder do Talen knows, I thought. Now it makes things kind of weird. Honest my sister-in-law, it'll be weird fucking somebody I knew she liked. Guess ill have to end this thing with Talen sooner than I planned to. We almost there? Yes, we almost there. I couldn't wait to see where we ended up at. Chance not good at keeping surprises from me so im shocked he still keeping this one a surprise. That makes me even more excited to see where we at. Here put this on, Chance said while handing me a blindfold. You can't see through this, can you? No, I said. Are you lying? No, I can't see nothing. Don't be peeking either. I felt the car stop and I had butterflies. It's been a minute since we been away. With my job, it's rare we get alone time like this.

    We don't have to go up and down no stairs, do we? I got you, just relax. We were walking for like 5 minutes and I still had no idea on where we were. I kept thinking maybe ill hear something that'll give me a clue. You ready? Yes! Chance removed my blindfold and I wasn't too sure on how to feel. We were at this resort that I always wanted to go to. Normally I would be excited right now. I've been wanting to go to this resort for months now. I never really had the time to go. So about 5 months ago, I had a little affair with one of my team members named Kris. We were on a call one night, well we were actually leaving the scene. We had to go back to the station to do some paperwork or whatever. While Kris was driving, he pulled over on the side of the road. I didn't know why he pulled over. I asked him why he stop. Out of nowhere, he leaned over and kissed me. It completely caught me by surprise. 

    I had never cheated on Chance or even thought about it. After stopping him, Kris confessed his level of attraction for me. I had no idea he was feeling me. It definitely made me uncomfortable and made things awkward between us. We were an hour away from the station and we took his car. It wasn't nothing I could do at that point. We rode in complete silence afterwards. Although I was uncomfortable, I couldn't help but think about how good the kiss was. I kept replaying that moment over and over again in my head. Every now and then I would glance over and stare at his lips. A part of me wanted it to happen again, the other part of me wanted to tell Chance. Just when I thought about kissing him, Chance texted. I normally check in to let him know im ok in between calls. After leaving the crime scene, I didn't think it was going to take so long getting home. Chance knew it was late and he didn't like me being out all late. He told me to find the nearest hotel and stay there for the night. The timing was perfect because we were about to pass a hotel. I told Kris to pull into the hotel. I was going to stay there for the night and do the paperwork in the morning. He thought it was a good idea so he was going to get a room too. When we got to the front desk, the clerk told us all the room were booked. The nearest hotel was the resort. I thought it was a good idea because it was closet and I been wanting to go since it opened. I got my room first while Kris wanted for the clerk to process his card. I went up to my room and got settled.

     A few minutes later, Kris was at my door. He wanted me to make sure I got to my room safely. It wasn't no coincidence his room was directly next to mine. It was about 3 in the morning when I heard tapping on the door. I looked through the peep hole and of course it was Kris. I hesitated to open the door. Right when I grabbed the handle, he walked off. I wasn't sure if I wanted to see what he wanted or not but I was a little curious. My mind was still on the kiss so that pushed my curiosity. I knocked on his door a few seconds later. As soon as he opened the door, I just went for it. He pulled me in his room, snatched my rob off, and licked me from head to toe. At that moment, Chance nor our relationship crossed my mind. I allowed Kris to kiss every part of my body. We fucked for hours, which I was shocked about that. Normally a man would nut in round one or two, not Kris. He didn't nut until like that 5th round. He pushed my body to the limits that night. I didn't regret nothing we did that night. To this day, I still don't. We haven't fucked since then. We didn't want to compromise our jobs or make things complicated. To avoid all of that, Kris got transferred to a different station.

    You don't seem too excited, Chance said. It's not that. What is it? You been wanting to come here for a while now and I thought the timing was perfect. It is and I appreciate you for bringing me here. It's just, ive been here already. When? Remember when I was on a call late and you told me to just get a room for the night? Yeah, Chance said. The hotel that was close was all booked up. This was the next closest hotel. I didn't get to enjoy it because it was late. I got a room, went to sleep, and left that next morning. Aw, well so much for the surprise. It's ok baby, I still get to enjoy it with you. What made this is even more crazy, Chance got us the exact same room Kris had. All I could think about was what we did that night. I have to really try my hardest to make everything seem normal. Everything about this room reminded me of that night. I kept looking up at the ceiling fan following the slow pace. The whole-time Kris was on top of me, I kept looking at the ceiling fan. Sitting on the bed made me imagine myself gripping the sheets and calling out Kris name. I glanced over at the tub, that's where round 3 took place. Baby, im about to take a shower. Ok, ill go get the bags. All I could think about while I was in the shower was how good Kris was fucking me. Round 4 took place right here. I closed my eyes and all I saw was Kris fucking me against the shower door. I was so caught up in daydreaming about Kris, I completely forgot I was here with Chance. Only thing I could do to make this trip normal is avoid being in this room as much as possible.
