Chapter 2

   Chance and I are going away for our 4th year anniversary. He hasn't told me exactly where we were going but im excited. It's been a minute since we've went on vacation. I'm a F.B.I agent so im pretty much always busy. Chance owns his own landscaping company. It took us a long time to get where we are. We met while I was on call 5 years ago. I know it sounds real crazy but it's not. We got a domestic violence call and went to check it out. It was a typical argument between a couple that just got out of hand. Chance is the one that called it in. It was 2 of his neighbors at the time. Once we got everything settled with the couple, one of my team members gave Chance my card. He called me that next day and asked me out to dinner. It took me a minute to accept his dinner invitation. With me being on call, im always busy. I finally had some free time so I accepted his invitation. It took me like 2 weeks to accept it but im glad I did. The connection between us was amazing. We talked for about 4 months before making it official. I was on the fence about it because of my job. I've always allowed my job to control my personal life. Before, I really didn't mind. My career was super important to me at the time. Once I met Chance, I knew he was somebody I didn't want to risk losing. Every since then, we been together.

We don't get to see each other that often but when we do, our moments are kind of like that. I met Talen through Chance's sister, Honest. She introduced us at her birthday party. Of course, no one knows about us. We exchanged numbers later that night and been kicking it since then. I was kind of pissed as you saw. Talen knows we don't get to see each other like that. We finally get to see each other and he too busy worrying about Chance. If im not worried about my own husband, he shouldn't be worried. It's no telling when we'll be able to see each other. I got a 2-week vacation so im going to enjoy it with my man. I hopped in the shower, threw on some clothes, and headed to my mama house. Luckily, she stays 15 minutes away from us.

  Hey ma! Hey, what you doing here? Just wanted to stop by before we got on the road. He still haven't told you where y'all going? Nope but im excited. I want you to enjoy your vacation, my mom said. Don't accept no work calls, don't check your emails, none of that. Chance said the same thing last night. He told you right, where he at? He stopped at the office to make sure everything was good before we left. I hope y'all have a good time, my mom said. I know we will. What I tell you about letting him mark up your neck? Huh? The moment that left my mama lips, I panicked. Chance don't like "devil marks", as my grandma call them. Out of the 5 years we've been together, he has never left one on me. I tell Talen all the damn time, don't put this shit on me. He be fucking me so good, I don't even be feeling it. Now I have to make sure I fix this before I head to Honest house. I didn't even realize it was there ma. I'm sure you didn't. You better be glad your grandma wasn't here to see it. Yes, I don't have time for her to read a scripture and pray over me. You shol know that lady, my mama said while laughing. Let me use the bathroom before I go. I covered it up as much as I could without it being too noticeable. I looked at my phone and saw Chance calling. Where you at? Just left mama house, headed there now. Ok, I stopped and got a few snacks. Ok, see you in a minute.

   I'm going to kill you when I get back. What I do? What I tell you about sucking on my neck? My bad, Talen said. I be so into what we doing, I be forgetting. Well you need to stop forgetting. Chance must saw it? Naw, my mama saw it. I'm glad she said something before he saw it. Damn, my bad sweetheart. I covered it up, I said. I thought y'all was gone already. I'm headed to Honest house to meet him now. Why y'all meeting there? She keeping my car until we come back. Hopefully ill get to see you when you come back. I know with me missing work for 2-weeks, ill be swamped with work when I get back. I know, I just hope you'll still find a little time for me. You know I always find some time for you. I hate we couldn't finish before you left. If you would have stopped worrying about him and worried about pleasing me, we would have. I just didn't want him to come back and we get caught. Let me worry about us getting caught. You just worry about doing your job. Just know when you come back, im tearing that shit up. So don't be letting him stretch you all out.   Just hearing Talen talk dirty, made me horny as hell. Talen is much bigger than Chance but Chance still do a decent job at pleasing me. He not as rough as Talen but I still get a good nut. Him taking charge always turned me on. I did exactly what he said and took a nap.
