Talking to my mom was everything I needed. After leaving her house, I headed to the station to talk to Stevens. I'm sure he's not going to be very happy about how late im coming. Getting all of that off my chest was important, and it was well needed. I tried to call Chance, but he didn't answer. I guess he still needs a little time to his self. It was weird parking in the visitor's parking lot. Kaydence! Girl I miss you already, Tia said. Aw, I miss you too. What you doing here? Stevens asked me to stop by to talk. He might want you back around here, we need you. While I was standing there talking to Tia, Smith walked up to me. Follow me this way, Smith said. Why? I'm taking you to where Stevens is. I got a weird vibe from Smith. The vibe always off when it comes to Smith, this time the vibe was a little different. It's like he knew something that I didn't know. As we were walking, I realized he was leading me to the interrogation area. What's going on? Stevens wants to talk to you. Why we going to the interrogation area? That's why he told me to bring you, Smith said. But why? I'm just following orders, that's all. Something was going on, I could feel it.

Hey, thanks for coming down. Welcome, sorry im came so late. It's ok, I know you have a lot going on. I'm sure you're wondering why we in the interrogation room, Stevens said. Yeah, I am. Since he don't have an office anymore, I needed somewhere secluded we could talk. There's a huge 2-way mirror right there. We're not technically secluded, I said. Let's just get right to it, Stevens said. I did get your resignation email, I wanted to talk more about that. Ok, I said very hesitant. You said why you were resigning, but I want to get a clear understanding. This whole X case has been taking a toll on me lately. It's been draining me mentally, emotionally, and physically. I was doing the best I could to try to catch this killer. He or she has made it pretty much impossible for us to get close to catch him or her. I lost sleep countless of nights because of this case. I kept trying to find some type of clue or something that linked all these cases together. After going over the evidence so many times, I realized I was that link. Everybody that were killed, was somebody I knew. Really? Yes, the first 5 people were people I knew growing up. They weren't that close to me, but I still knew them. The last 4 people were definitely people that was close to me. People that I loved and cared about deeply. I saw the recent victim was your sister-in-law. I'm really sorry to what happened to her. Yeah, I am too. I've been wrecking my brain trying to figure out why this killer would go after her. I'm still trying to figure out why Braxton was killed. We just closed his case a few days ago. We introduced him to his brother that he knew nothing about. A few days later, he gets killed. Not only does he get killed, he gets dropped off in my backyard. I still don't have not one answer to none of these cases. This case has brought so much pain and dysfunction into my life. I rather step back from all of this and work on repairing my damaged life right now. I totally understand, and I wish you the best with moving forward. Thank you, sir.

Smith walked into the interrogation room. Excuse me sir, Smith said. I wanted to ask Kaydence some questions if that's ok with you. What kind of questions? Just questions that could help find who did this to her sister-in-law. Go right ahead, Smith said while sitting back. How are you? I'm fine, I said. I'm sorry to hear about your sister, I really am. Do you know who would possibly do something like this to her? No, I don't. Did she have any enemies of any kind? Nope, I said. Did she have a boyfriend, girlfriend? I don't know. Did she tell you if it's anybody she was interested in? Nope, she didn't tell me anything like that. Come one Kaydence, this is your sister-in-law. Y'all have to had girl talk at some point. Considering the fact, you were married to her brother for 4 years, if im not mistaken. Like I said, I don't know. All of my time was spent here, working. Where is your husband? I don't know, I said. We've been trying to reach him for some time now. Since we called him with the news yesterday. It's a little strange that he's not answering. Oh, well I don't know what to tell you. I haven't talked to him either. We got Honest phone records this morning. We tried calling the last person that called her, which was a guy name Aiden. I did some researching on this Aiden guy. Aiden King Tucker, he works for an advertising company. We've tried contacting him as well, he's not answering either. Here's where things get a little weird for me. Smith put some pictures on the table. It was pictures of King and me. Where did you get these? They were taken by a local detective that was doing an investigation of Aiden. Not sure what the details are on that right now, but that's not the point. I found these when I was doing some research on Aiden. Here is my theory, you correct me if im wrong.

You and Aiden were friends, hung out a few times. By looking at these photos, it's clear y'all were a little more than friends. You didn't want your husband finding out about y'all, so you ended things with Aiden. To keep him close in your life, you introduced him to your sister-in-law Honest. They started hanging out, getting close and what not. That's when you realized, you made a mistake by introducing them. You told Aiden to break it off with Honest. Him being in love with you, he agreed to do so. I just assume he was in love with you. His face clearly says it in these photos. He's at Honest house, trying to break things off. Something goes wrong and an altercation starts. They tussle around for a minute; a few things get broken. No longer taking the abuse, Aiden snaps. He snaps too hard and kills Honest. Him wanting to send you a clear message, he leaves sticky notes on Honest dead body. That sounds about right? Nowhere near right, I said. Oh, tell us your side of it all.

Yes, Aiden and I were friends. We hung out a few times, then we eventually became more than friends. For a brief, I do mean brief time we were feeling each other. I got caught up in the connection we had just a little. No longer wanting to risk my marriage, I did end things with Aiden. My husband and I were out to eat. Aiden approached the table to speak. My husband did not know who he was at the time. It was actually my husband's idea to introduce Aiden to Honest, not mine. That's when they started to hangout and stuff. Days after them meeting, I told my husband who Aiden really was. My husband knew I cheated, but he didn't know with who. He was upset, but he was willing to forgive me and work on our marriage. After that, it was done. We never discussed it any more. When he told me Honest was killed, I was just as crushed as him. He needed some space to process this on his own, so im giving him that space.

First, it's good y'all working on the marriage. I applaud that, Smith said. However, that brings me to my next theory. You told your husband who Aiden really was, his sister is dead, and Aiden was the last person to see or talk to her. That gives your husband every reason to go after Aiden. He has a lot of hurt, pain, and anger in his heart. He's looking for somebody to take all of that out on. Who is a better person than somebody that cheated with his wife and could have possibly killed his sister? You get where im going with this? Yes, I get it. Yet again, your theory is off. I know my husband, I know he wouldn't harm anybody. I'm sure he thought he knew you. I'm sure he thought he knew his wife so well, that she wouldn't cheat on him. What goes on in my marriage, has nothing to do with you. When people are being killed, it has everything to do with me. Let me just get down to the reality of it. You cheated on your husband with a man that was hanging out with his sister. His sister is dead and the man that you cheated with is the last person to see or talk to her. That gives your husband every reason to kill this dude. It all makes sense seeing how we can't get in touch with neither one of them. I bet the next call we get; Aiden's body will be found somewhere with Chance's name all over it. I'm telling you now, he's going to jail. It's no letting him go this time. Mark my words, Smith said before walking out the interrogation room.
