( So hey everyone! Okay so sorry I didn't update. It was my b-day yesterday {April 5th} so I was in L.A. and I couldn't update. I'm back and I decided to introduce something a bit different. Read on to find out. *I DON'T OWN PERCY JACKSON OR THE SERIES* )
Jason's POV:
I just went back to my cohort after my cohort lost the war games. Oh by the way, hi. I'm Jason Grace. I'm a son of Jupiter. I killed the Trojan Sea monster. I destroyed Kronos's throne, and I destroyed the Titan Krios. I'm pretty awesome.
After the war, everything seemed peaceful. Everyone was back to work, training, and living out their lives in New Rome. All of the campers started to have fun again. And I think I might be starting a little relationship with the other Praetor, Reyna.
Ok, so back to normal time. We just lost the war games, so I went to bed feeling defeat. When I closed my eyes, everything turned black. Then there was a burning light in front of me. There stood the goddess Juno. I bowed in her presence, and she said," Arise child of Rome." I stood up and looked at the goddess.
She wore her black robe, armor, and a goatskin cloak draped over her shoulders. "Hello Jason. I have brought you key information that is essential for your future." My brain activated, trying to come up with guesses. "You and six other demi-gods are the world's protection against an upcoming threat."
I couldn't help but burst out," But what do you mean an upcoming threat? We just defeated Krios last summer. We stopped a war that could've ended the world. And now all of a sudden there's something worse that's about to destroy us??" Juno simpley nodded and said," I'm afraid so. But I have a plan. It will bring unity to your camp and another opposing force. You and another demi-god will bring this combination, and hopefully you both will succeed.
Jeez, that's a lot on one person isn't it, I thought. "Oh you've been through worse Jason," she winked. Okay, so she's reading my mind, stalker much? I smirked. Juno glared," I will not be addressed that way Mr. Grace." I bowed in apology and asked," Anything else you need to tell me?"
She nodded and continued," You and the other demigod will both be on a quest. I will be in danger soon, so my plan will commence soon as well. You need to be prepared, young one. This quest will be a hard one." I processed everything in my head," But who is this other demi-god?" "Oh, so many questions. You remind me of the other demigod. He had so many questions. And he has a girlfriend too, almost like you Jason. You both don't like being the leader, yet you become a leader worthy of leading the perfect army."
Juno smiled, as if proud of her work. She shook her head," I must leave now, for it is almost time. I must warn you, when I go missing, the gods will be silent. There will be no communication with them. So you must rely on your instincts. And many of your friends will be affected by this, like Bobby, Gwendolyn, Dakota, even Reyna." I was about to speak when she said," Goodbye Jason." Then, Juno vansihed before me.
I woke up in the middle of the night, very confused and drenched in sweat. I couldn't help but sit there, trying to process everything that just happened. Okay, so there's another enemy coming to destry the world. (Not so surprised) There's another demi-god that I have to work with to bring unity between us and something else. And Juno's plan could affect my relationship with Reyna. I laid my face in my hands, desperate for answers.
