Pool party time

Chapter 5

"Morning sunshine" my brother beamed at me and jumped over the back of the couch, plopping down next to me. I looked over to him lazily and shook my head.

"You are way too bright for so early in the morning" I said tuning my attention back to the TV that was on MTV.

"How do you watch this the whole day long?" Nate asked putting his feet up on the coffee table.

"I don't know. I like it" I said shrugging.

"Its so boring" he groaned.

"So what would you rather watch? Golf?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Yes!" he said grinning.

"Too bad for you then" I said hugging the remote to my body and sticking my tongue out at him. My eyes went wide when he tackled me. I held the remote above my head as he tried to get it. He shoved me off the couch and I landed flat on my ass.

"Ha take that Kels!" Nate yelled then grabbing the remote and changing the channel.

"No fair. I was here first" I mumbled as I got up and walked into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and took out the orange juice and poured myself some into a cup.

"Hey Kels?" Nate yelled from the lounge.

"What?" I asked him annoyed with him.

"Lets have a barbecue today?" it was more of a question than a suggestion.

"A barbecue sounds good" Parks said with a yawn walking down the stairs. He plopped down on the couch next to Nate as I leaned against the wall by the lounge.

"And who exactly do we invite?" I asked with my arms crossed.

"Phone up Trav and hear if they want to come over. He mentioned something about hanging with the crew today." Nate said glancing at me then back at the TV.

"Oki dokes. I will hear from him. I'm going to shower." I said and made my way up the stairs to my room. I grabbed my phone off the charger and texted Travis.

'Morning TP:) what ya doin today? - Kels' I hit send then set my phone down on my night stand and walked over to my dresser and searched for my white bikini. I tossed it on my bed then went into my closet and searched for some clothes to wear. I settled for a light pink tank top with a white fox head printed on it from fox racing and white board shorts.

I checked my phone quick before I stepped into the shower. There was one new text.

'Nothing much just hanging with the crew. You got any plans for the day? - Trav:)'

'Well Nate was wondering if you guys don't want to come over for a barbecue and hang by the pool for the day? - Kels' I hit send and his reply was almost instant.

'Sure sounds like fun. Everyone is keen to see you guys again. What time should we be there and what should we bring? - Trav:)'

'Just bring yourselves and see you in an hour? - Kels' I hit send again and set my phone down. I walked into the bathroom and stepped under the warm stream of water. I washed my hair and then went on to washing my body. I rinsed myself off and then lastly rinsed the conditioner from my hair.

I grabbed my big cream fluffy towel and dried myself off. I quickly got dressed and glanced at my phone for the time. Travis and them should be here in like 20minutes. He sent a last text that said 'See you then :)'. I went down the stairs after drying my hair and found Nate and Parks in the same spots.

"You guys might want to go shower. Trav and everyone will be here in like 10minutes" I said walking into the kitchen.

"Oh well its just Travis and them so" Parks said in a 'I don't care' tone.
