Days went by and Egil came and went as he pleased, often bringing little gifts of food and flowers for (y/n) saying "aren't I a great husband?"
The Icelander had also moved into the stables so that he could be close to the girl.
Denmark would stay close to the Scandinavian girl as she went about her chores to 'protect' her from the 2p.
Egil however did not like this and usually tried to find ways to be alone with (y/n), Denmark and Egil fought regularly much to the girl's disapproval.
"Will you two stop fighting?! I am too old for either of you.", (y/n) shouted at the boys and the two ceased fighting.
Egil Tackled her in a hug and Denmark followed suit, "Ég mun hætta þegar hann viðurkennir að ég er maðurinn þinn!"
"Jeg vil aldrig sige det! Hun er min værts engel!", the Dane said with a red face as the other four boys watched, "Er du enig med mig i Norge?"
Norway stared at the two that were hanging on to the girl and flicked both of them, "Hun bestemmer seg, du kan ikke ta avgjørelsen for henne"
With that Norway pulled the two boys off of (y/n) and threw them into the snow outside, "Avkjøl ut her, kom tilbake innvendig."
The Scandinavian girl kept a pokerface to keep herself from laughing at how sassy little Norway was.
After a few minutes of hearing yelling coming from outside, the boys quieted down and knocking was heard from the door.
(Y/n) opened the door to see Denmark and Egil covered in snow and frost, both were shivering from the cold.
"Har de avkjølt ennå?",Norway asked in his little monotone voice.
"I don't know, are you two going to behave now?", the (h/c) Haired girl questioned the two Popsicles standing in front of her.
"Ja"
"Já"
She let the two in and they ran to the fireplace for warmth, she was about to close the door when a figure caught her attention.
A male around her physical age (she appears 18 when she is actually 25) watching her and the brothers, his blue eyes regarding the female with caution. (Y/n) returned the cautious gaze and the male walked away, his animal skin cloak billowing behind him as he moved.
She had an idea about who he was but she had to be sure.
"Egil?", (y/n) called and the Icelander was magically attached to her side as soon as she said his name, giving her a loving half lidded gaze.
"Já elskan mín?~", Egil cooed as he snuggled into her side. A Growl was heard from the little blanket cocoon known as Denmark that was sitting in front of the fireplace, the Dane was giving Egil glares but the Icelander was ignoring them.
"Do you by any chance have family?", (y/n) asked and stroked his hair, Egil tensed up at the question and growled.
"They hate me.", the 2p Icelander huffed, "my brothers are the ones who beat me up."
"Is one of your brothers tall with pale blond hair and blue eyes?", Egil hugged her tighter and squeaked in fear.
"B-b-blóm, how d-did you k-know?", Egil stuttered and started shaking, "d-did you s-s-see him?"
(Y/n) slowly nodded, Egil's shaking stopped he stood strait up and looked the girl in the eye.
"Did he see you?"
The Scandinavian girl was confused as to why he would ask but nodded. Egil growled.
'"They are coming, Dammit."
Translations :
Ég mun hætta þegar hann viðurkennir að ég er maðurinn þinn!- I will quit when he acknowledges that I am your husband!
Jeg vil aldrig sige det! Hun er min værts engel!- I will never say that! She is my guardian angel!
Er du enig med mig i Norge?- you agree with me right Norway?
Hun bestemmer seg, du kan ikke ta avgjørelsen for henne- she decides, you can not make the decision for her.
Avkjøl ut her, kom tilbake innvendig- cool down out here, then come back inside.
Har de avkjølt ennå?- have they cooled off yet?
