Chapter 9 Tori
'CRASH'
"I'm up, I'm up!" I shout trying unsuccessfully to wiggle out of the blankets.
My back, hip and elbow hurt like hell and I wondered why muttering frustratedly "stupid, stupid, stupid" while I kicked off my blankets and poked my head through the opening.
"Well that explains it!" I say mentally slapping myself.
I had rolled off the bed in my tangled sheets and crashed onto the floor. I pulled myself slowly to my feet and trudged into the bathroom, stripping, showering and doing my business.
With a white fluffy towel wrapped tightly around my body I exited the bathroom and opened my suitcase picking out my outfit for the day.
I settled with a blue and black theme, pulling on a light blue pair of mini shorts, a white skin tight tank and a 3/4 bright blue jumper. It had long-sleeves but the jumper stopped at the bottom of my ribcage showing off the white tank. I picked out a set of black band bracelets with silver pendants and for earrings I had a pair of deep, sapphire studs and another light blue pair of studs. I also clipped on a sliver ear cuff. I grabbed my fluro blue and black watch and two necklaces. A silver owl on the end of one chain and an oval shaped locket on the other, finishing the outfit off with my sapphire blue and black high-tops and my black leather bag with my laptop, phone and iPod inside.
I closed my suitcase again and dragged it out of my Aunts spare room, rolling it carefully down the stairs and out the front door.
Erica was on the front porch and when I looked at her she smiled brightly, handing me a set of keys.
"No way" I said is disbelief.
"Ah... Yes way?" she answered carefully.
"You got me a car?" I stated and Erica smiled stepping back to let me pass.
I jumped down the two front steps and raced over to the curb stopping and staring.
"That's not a car" I stated shocked looking at a deep purple and blue Kawasaki Ninja Zx92.
"No, but it's yours" Aunt Erica had come up beside me.
"What about my suitcase?"
"I'll drop it off tonight" Erica shrugged and I quickly embraced her in a hug, mounting the bike and driving away.
