Chapter 30 Lis

Tori practically drags me out the door causing me to stumble in my heels.

I giggle shutting the door behind me and we set off talking, my hair out of my face for a change and her a smile that looks like it hasn't seen the light of day for a long time. We head towards the edge of the property sneaking past the English class, the PE class and the Science class. The others must have been in a different part of the garden. After a while of walking I spot a honey eater and show Tori then I realise that we have those birds at home and I feel like I might just be on a holiday. I realise that we're starting to get to the edge of the property when I notice a simple wooden arch with a rose creeper on it and a stone path leading up and around a corner with purple flowers I remember being called Agapantha's back at home. They lined the stone path all the way up and all I could think was it's just past the edge of the grounds maybe we can just turn around and no one would know we were here.

There was no chance of that because as soon as Tori sees it she gets excited and runs over to the fence calling over her shoulder "OMG let's check this out Lis"

"It's out of bounds and someone lives there see the smoke" I say pointing up at the rising smoke that was obviously coming from a chimney.

"pfft " she snorts "and if there is well we'll just have to be quiet then" and with a grin she pulls me through the fence

"Tori!" I say angrily when I nearly fall.

"c'mon" Is all she says.

"can't we just go back today? please?" I beg

No it seems as she's hauling me next to her and putting her arm around my shoulder " how frickin cool is this? Lis, your not scared are you?" She giggles

"Well ... A little" shaking my hair over my face.

"Loosen up Lis c'mon you could have fun!"

We round the corner on the path and are faced with a one roomed cabin with a glass door and some steps with a miniature deck to lead up to the building. I pause on the steps and wait for tori shouting after her " be careful" she goes in.

I look around nervously and then we see each other. He was so... Hot or maybe it's cute.

"C'mon lis it's empty" Tori shouts.

"Err tori come out here" I call back quietly.

I look at him properly and realise he has purple eyes which strangely doesn't freak me out. He looks similar to this character Finnick who was in a movie I saw aeons ago called The Hunger Games - Catching Fire. He has broad shoulders and golden honey blonde hair, I realise he's shirtless but hidden behind some wood that he's carrying but I think i can see a six pack. I have the word now he's cute and sexy.

I hear Tori come out of the cabin and scream.

I turn around and see another guy has captured her. I let out a whimper and look back to the carrying all the wood.

"let her go Ambrose" he said to the boy "Hi"he says to me.

"Hi" I mumble.

"I'm Darrel and this is Ambrose" he says pointing at where Tori stands in front of a mysterious looking guy still wrapped in his arms.
