Chapter 2 Lis
I breathe in as is stretch that morning for gym.
'this is it' I think to myself 'the day to right my future where no one needs to know my past'.
"Ayalisse!"
'Damn that woman' I think to myself "I told you a young girl needs to do her chores, ALL her chores before she does her gymnastics!" Shouts Cynthia the cruelest of the orphanage staff.
I shout back: "I'll be leaving in 20 minutes though"
"What for?"
"to go to my new home, Nightingale Academy for Girls in America"
I'll be sad to see Australia go but excited for my new life.
"Well then Ayalisse are you packed?"
"Of course Cynthia" I faked a smile,
snatching my suitcase and going to see my only friend here, a mute who saw something that made her a mental mute and only can speak in sign language. I'm unhappy to see her go and I don't want to leave her behind but we will survive without each other. She reaches out and begins to tell me that I was the best friend and that she is so happy I could talk to her. She tells me I was the nicest person and the only who had bothered to learn sign language so they could converse. I reply saying that she was lovely and smarter than everyone thought. We say our goodbyes and I depart for the taxi that will take me to a better life. The taxi driver tries to make conversation until I tell him that his cancer is not helping my mood. I of course have the happiest feeling at the moment and I have no mood what so ever but it shut him up and I blasted my music getting use to the new update on the latest apple product.
I reach the airport and receive a badge which I put on that reads 'HELLO MY NAME IS AYALISSE I AM AN UNACCOMPANIED MINOR.' I slide through security and onto the plane hiding behind a wall of dark purple hair that blends into bright aqua.
