Chapter 31 Tori

I could hear Lis outside begging to be back at the dorm but I just smiled and laughed.

This was hilarious.

"Err, Tori come out here" Lis said quietly.

I stood inside for a moment but the worry on her voice was evident and I could tell it wasn't because she didn't want to be here.

I stepped outside and screamed as someone's arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me close to them.

I saw Ayalisse turn around and look at me a whimper slipping from her mouth.

A shirtless boy with golden blonde hair and purple eyes was standing behind Lis, a pile of wood in his hands.

"Let her go Ambrose" he said and I realised the boy was talking about me.

'Ambrose' I thought must have been the boy holding me but when his arms didn't move I shifted slightly in his arms.

I elbowed him in the ribs and whirled around stepping away from the boy edging toward Ayalisse.

"I... Don't-" he said stepping closer to me.

"Touch me, and I swear I will kill you" I raised a finger like I was telling a little boy off.

"No, it's-"

"Tori!" Lis screamed and before I understood why my feet went out from underneath me and I screamed tumbling down the three stairs that led up to the cabin.

I tried to catch my balance but failed blacking out when my head hit the ground.

I woke up to the smell of burning wood. My head hurt like a bitch and I didn't want to open my eyes.

"Tori?" I heard Lis say and then "she's waking"

I felt another presence and wondered who else would be in our dorm room.

"Holy shit!" I whispered realisation sinking in.

I bolted up and gasped immediately falling back onto the pillows.

"Easy" a male voice said.

"Fuck off" I muttered earning a laugh from the voice who was obviously Ambrose.

"You are in my house, so I'd appreciate some manners" he said and I opened my eyes to see him smirking.

"You asshole" I said turning my attention to Lis. "How long was I out?" I asked.
