Chapter 11 Tori

When I pulled up at the Nightingale Academy I parked my bike as close to school as possible, dismounting and patting the handles protectively.

I smiled gleefully enjoying the feeling of my very own motorbike. I had always wanted a motorbike.

I hitched my leather bag higher on my shoulders walking up to the school and through the front doors. I noticed a few girls staring and whispering as I passed but I ignored them. Shaking my hair out I walked into the front office to claim my timetable.

When I arrived at my designated dorm room I reached for the handle to find it unlocked.

'That means my roommates here already' I think to myself.

"Okay" I muttered "here we go" pushing open the door and stepping inside.

I shut the door quietly behind me a flick the light switch flooding the room with a warm yellow glow. I noticed the window seats first and noted that the right hand side was already stacked with books and I smiled at the familiar titles.

"Good taste" I smile for a second time then look over all the faces staring down at me from the wall. "Lots of posters" my smile slips and I realise I haven't bought anything like that with me. I had my clothes, my bag, my laptop, phone, iPod and nothing else.

I dropped my bag on the left king size bed happy knowing I had my favourite side of the room.

Then I heard the moaning.

"Oh God no!" I whispered turning to face the other bed in the room thinking the worst.

I was so relieved when I saw only one person occupying the bed. I smiled again knowing no one could see me and walked closer to the girl sleeping.

She was mumbling and moaning and kicking around the bed like a mad man.

'Bad dream' I thought coming to stand beside the bed.

"Hey?" I questioned but she only mumbled more. "Dude wake up!" I shouted and she bolted into a sitting position her eyes wide and breathing ragged.

My first thought was 'is she okay?' But then I was suddenly wondering how the fuck purple hair that flowed into a bright aqua could ever be at all appealing. I had to admit it actually looked perfect on her like it was her natural colour and I couldn't think of anyone else who would look so great with that style.

When she finally told me she was fine I knew she was lying but I didn't want to pressure her because after all, we had only just met so I went along with it introducing myself and waiting patiently for her reply.

"Ayalisse" she stuttered eventually and I was shocked.

I had never heard a name like that before but it fit perfectly with her rare, unique beauty.

Before I had fully processed her name she had whispered something else and almost run from the room and into the bathroom.

"Well that was umm.... Pleasant" I muttered mentally slapping myself at my stupidity.

'I should go get my suitcase' I think running from the room.
