Chapter 14 Lis

I slam the door and slide down it where the cold seeps in through my jeans. I pressed the back of my head against the door and silently listen to my roommates screaming but it was too distant to be normal. She must've been hiding her face in her hands or the pillow I guessed and I couldn't quite understand what she was saying either.

A few hours later she went silent and I decide it was safe to leave the bathroom and search the dorm, I leave the bathroom cautiously and I quickly realise it's a basic house with a bathroom stocked with a French brand fluffy sapphire towel, a bath/spa and a shower. There's a kitchen stocked with any food that could take your fancy and even Powdered Lemonade. There is NOT powdered lemonade in South Australia. I couldn't wait to try some. There was a small dining room connected to the kitchen with 6 chairs surrounding a small wooden table. There was also a bar but no alcohol in the dinning room. I find a small home cinema with a stocked candy bar and loads of movies, also discovering a door that leads to a beautiful walk in robe that's bigger than the kitchen, I was so excited that I stopped looking around and snatched my suitcase to stock the cupboard and use the rooms phone to find out if I could get some beautiful purple paint and a pretty aqua along with some sky blue paint and a white paint too. The receptionist replies 'yes, and it will be delivered tomorrow'.

I say my thanks and get out my impressive shoe collection. I have a huge variety of heels and flats and several thongs that tie me to Australia. I think of the conversation with my roomie and try to figure out whether I can trust her or could ever trust her with why I came. After a few minutes I can't decide and choose to just become friends with her if I can, she looks like fun...maybe.
